It seems that just about everyone is up against a new, hard-assed English teacher at Vista Valley High (the lovely Jesie St. James) who's been brought in to whip the unruly school back into shape. Known more for its chaos, beatings, and rapes than its academic rigor, it seems that the students (...and their parents...) at the school are far more interested in fucking around--and just plain fucking, for that matter--than they are in bettering themselves. Indeed, their problems run deep and spread wide, and whether Jesie will be able to set things right and get them back on the straight and narrow...or whether she'll ultimately find herself entangled in their intricate web of carnal corruption...remains to be seen. Such is the case in "Vista Valley P.T.A", a very good, 1981 release from VCX and director Anthony Spinelli. [read the full review]

Just about every guy in town takes a turn when Candy (Carol Connors), a naive blonde who's equal parts dopey and leggy, arrives on the corrupt, 1970's Hollywood scene. Indeed, the bubbly babe finds herself passed around from one user to another--from agents to TV show hosts to directors and so on--as she bumbles her way toward a supposed acting career under the guidance of her less-than-scrupulous agent, John Leslie. Fortunately for her--and the viewer, really--she's too ditzy to realize any of it, and she simply goes along for the sexy ride. Such is the case in "Candy Goes to Hollywood", a very good, 1979 release from VCX and director Gail Palmer. [read the full review]
