The cover slick for Vista Valley P.T.A. says “Jessie St. James is the next in a long line of teachers to take on a trouble class of high schollers in a small town with beautiful suburban exterior that hides an underbelly of dysfunctional relationships, sexual deviancy and profound rebellion. Knowing that the last two teachers in her position were raped; Ms. Martin implements her strong personality in a bold attempt to bring order to the town. Despite her noble efforts, Ms. Martin finds herself in a twisted web of sin, seduction, and sex.” There is way too much story and not enough sex in this movie and really isn’t worth bothering with. The only sex scene worthwhile is the one where Jamie Gillis plays a minister and has sex with his daughter. Even though the sex isn’t that hot, Gillis brings his usual creepiness to the part and is worth watching just for that. The other problems with this are the usual from the time period that this was released. As an example; we have the yummy Dorothy Lemay giving head in the front seat of a car. We cut back and forth between her impressive oral skills and the guy getting blown. We then have about 2 seconds of an oral cumshot before we cut to the guy and have 30 seconds of chatter. So I was pissed about that as I picked this up for Dorothy and Dorothy alone. Lastly, at the end of the film, Jessie St. James is taking on 4 or 5 guys. The entire scene is ruined by the fade in fade out style of editing employed. The extras include four short bonus scenes and some classic trailers.
Pluses: Dorothy Lemay, Jessie St. James, Jamie Gillis.
Pluses: Dorothy Lemay, Jessie St. James, Jamie Gillis.
Minuses: Way too much storyline. Editing during sex scenes.
Sleaziness Factor (1-10): 3 for Minister Gillis spreading his seed onto his daughter.
Is it worth it? Not really, there are better classic releases out there.
