THE SEDUCTION OF MARY (1992, VCA) is a rather ordinary title for what is actually an intricately woven tale of lawyer Mary Johnson (Victoria Paris) falling under the seductive spell of erotica author Marshall Solomen (Mike Horner) or does she? Director Michael Craig also gets screenwriting credit along with Leslie Black for a xxx film that actually uses the sexual situations to help advance this erotic tale to a conclusion that, although not totally satisfying, tops nearly every feature uncorked by today's major studios. He says that these two are his favorite but I find that every director says that when they do a best of. Apparently these two scenes have been re-edited making them longer than what they were when released so if you own the original you might want to check out this compilation. VIDEO/AUDIO: The video was in full frame and the picture varied. It is a compilation so keep that in mind. However it is not nearly as bad as a lot of compilations out there. The audio was okay but again this is a compilation. I have no reason to expect anything different here. Initial Reaction: Its good, but nowhere as good as the first half. There isnt as much plot but its much more sexual than the first half. Audio /Video Quality: As with the first part, the audio is excellent. Face Dance Part 2 was originally shot back in 1992 so some grain is expected and is also about the same as the first part. I should say that I watched this on my old 20" TV (since my big screen broke) which may have had some effect on the picture quality. Audio Quality: Excellent. Music: There is a wide variety of music in Face Dance Part 1 and it all fits the scene it's in. It's rare that I notice music in a positive way, and I noticed it several times here.
