Let Me Count the Lays is an early adult feature film which is composed mostly of previously made loops and scenes from other existing films. Walt Davis did a good job of stitching together the scenes to create a film with a narrative that could almost pass itself as a new film and is far from the worst that came out from the era. As to whether the film is worth watching, I guess that depends on the viewers themselves. Caballero has done a decent job with the video and audio on this release but heavily skimped on the extras. This release from Asterix combines two of Stephen Gibson's Deep Vision 3D movies, one that originally had a hardcore version and one that was only softcore. M-3D!: The Movie is an enjoyable film even though only the soft-X cable cut is available here and The Playmates in Deep Vision 3-D wasn't as good. Asterix did a poor job with this release utilizing poor transfers that don't look very good or work well with the 3D. The extras that have been collected for this release are lacking, to say the least. Stephen Gibson has said that 3D Blu-rays are coming for both titles, so it would be wise to wait for them instead of seeking out the old Asterix DVD. [read the full review]
