(which is very believable) of which roughly forty minutes is scenes Production Date: 04 / 2001 Director: Various Cast: Zita, Monica Moore, Monika Sweetheart, Sandra Russo, Thomas Stone, George, and many more I dont recognize Initial Expectations: Ive heard very good things about Privates samplers, so I have some high hopes here. Initial Reaction: Its a great display of what Private has to offer. Who Should Watch It : Anybody curious about what Private has to offer. Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to see an entire feature rather than a few scenes and trailers. Audio /Video Quality: Since its a compilation the technical aspects vary a little, as one would expect. As usual with Private, the audio is often dubbed. Its normally very well balanced and clear, but it should be when its dubbed. The video varies a little more, suffering from a little low light in some areas and a little grain in others. Despite this, its still better than most features out there.

This DVD was created for marketing purposes and it serves its role well - I knew that Private had a lot of great titles, but have never seen so many trailers on one disk - you can spend several hours just absorbing info and writing down the titles you want to buy next. If you're not familiar with Private, this DVD may become an eye-opener for you. It's not because of 3 full-length scenes it has on it, but because of the trailer glut you'll face. Most of the trailers are great. Not only that - they almost accurately mirror what the original features look like (the opposite would be true for movies made by many other studios - they would seduce you by a great trailer and then you regret the purchase, but it's too late). You can get a very good impression about what kind of stuff Private makes from this DVD.

Cast: Various. Directors: Various. Running time: over three hours (as claimed on the cover; I didn't have the patience to time it, but given how many trailers are here, it's a credible estimate). "Private DVD Sampler 3" features somewhere in the neighborhood of 130 trailers; there's considerable overlap with the second Private DVD sampler, but this newer sampler include trailers for DVDs like "The Last Muse", "Italian Flair", "External Ecstasy", and "Sex Opera." I've only seen a few of the recent batch of Private DVDs, and the trailers for them come across with more excitement than the movies did. These newer titles I've watched seem to place more emphasis on plot than older ones did, and this is reflected in the trailers (they're showier, with less sex and more depictions of leaden plotting and poor acting).
