I'm not sure how many fans are aware of this title, but I am of the opinion that this is one of John Leslie's best directorial efforts. Truly, a gem of a porno flick. Let's get to the scenes: Scene 1: Eric Price and Selena Steele. I have always been a huge Selena Steele fan. She never seems to disappoint and this opening scene (she's in 3 total!!!) is one of her best. And it's just a blowjob scene. But what a scene!! However, his best work, arguably, are the thematic, sexually-charged features he directed for VCA during the late 80's and early 90's. The Tease was a movie I'd never heard of before. But, with a cast list of Selena Steele, Ashlyn Gere, and Lauren Hall, I knew I had to check this one out... The movie stars the beautiful yet enigmatic Lauren Hall, the x-rated version of Linda Carter (Wonder Woman), who lets writer Randy West stay in her house for a month to help put some of her sexual experiences to words. We then open with a woman named Diana (Tori Welles) talking to her psychiatrist (Richard Pacheco). It appears that she has sexual problems, although they're not what you would probably imagine. It turns out that Diana's a "chameleon". If you don't know what I mean, just read ahead and you soon will. We then cut into a sizzling sex scene with a woman (April West) taking on two guys (Scott Irish, Axel Horn). After they are finished, the woman goes to the bathroom, where she turns into Diana! She has the ability to change her identities, which she takes to her full advantage. This is much to the chagrin of her boyfriend Marc (Tom Byron), for whom sex is a much more meaningful experience. I used to have a VHS copy of John Leslie's Chameleon, in which Tori Welles seemed to have the ability to change shape at will - although there was a certain element of ambiguity about the events that no reviewer has seemed to pick up on. What exactly was real? The not-sequel from 1992 features Deidre Holland and Rocco Siffredi as a couple of vampiric shape-changers and Ashlyn Gere as an adventurous woman who is seduced and intrigued by them. The plot is less ambiguous this time around, although not exactly mainstream. I suppose the viewer is aided by the obvious loans from other movies, most obviously Tony Scott's The Hunger. Watching the movie I was struck by a realization of how much I had been missing real and intriguing plots in porn. Chameleons is by no means a perfect movie - I did not get the opening scene, which appears to be taken from an entirely different kind of movie. All it seems to do is to establish the bitchiness of the Ashlyn Gere character, and not very effectively. [read the full review]

Meanwhile Ashlyn goes to the bathroom and is interrupted by Deidre who suddenly turns into Rocco, the 'real' Rocco still having fun at the party. A sex scene follows between the two and there's quite some energy between them, Rocco finally shooting on Ashlyn's chin and breasts. After the orgy, on their way home, Rocco is grumpy since his energy has been partially drained by Deidre during her transformation... Things get worse when Ashlyn turns up again at their home. John Leslie's "Curse of the Catwoman" is one of the most sylish porno movies I have ever seen. While honestly I think there are better John Leslie movies when it comes to storyline and, quite frankly, the sex, "Curse" is a perfect movie for anybody looking for a moody, style film. Anybody familiar with John Leslie's work will know this is a sequel (although rather different) to Leslie's 1988 classic "The Catwoman". In this film, a group of cat people hang out at a club, hunting for sexual prey. As the movie begins, Ashley Nicole is getting a stand-up fuck from T.T. Boy while Rocco Siffredi and Raven watch. Raven goes over to join the two, when club owner Jamie Gillis interrupts and tells her to get out. On their way out of the club together, Gillis and Nicole are attacked during a rendezvous by Raven, who gives herself to Jamie and provides Ashley with a "bigger dick".
