Review:
With her super-sweet best friend and fellow stripper (Traci Winn) under investigation for the murder of her abusive, on-again-off-again boyfriend (Tim Lake), the equal parts stunning and streetwise Selena Steele finds herself grilled by the police down at the station. Sexy, quick-witted, and crude, Steele recounts her version of the events leading up to the killing... and needless to say, many of them are scorching hot. So goes Anything That Moves, a very good, 1992 who-done-it from director John Leslie and VCA. Featuring strong acting all-around (particularly by Steele and Winn), a plot that will keep the viewer interested from start to finish, and plenty of bluesy tunes to set the mood, Leslie effectively evokes the dark, seedy, and gritty atmosphere of the early-90's strip club scene. Indeed, from her opening, profanity-laced argument with a club owner, Selena Steele demonstrates her acting chops, as does her naive pal throughout, Traci Winn, who simply can't see the worst in people...even when it's staring her square in the face. Reminiscent of the director's other work of the period, the characters are well-rounded, the settings are realistic, and there's a raw quality to the goings-on that's often missing in other adult fare. While not Leslie's absolute best, this one is certainly more than worthy of a watch.
In terms of the sex, the highlights include the outrageously gorgeous brunette, Selena Steele, fucking it out over a desk in the backroom of a bachelor party with the groom, Joel Lawrence... all whilst the sweet and sexy good-girl, Traci Winn, gives in and lets two party guests, Randy Spears and Nick Santiago, have a go at her (for free) one after the other. Selena takes a pop on the tits in closing out her session, while Randy finishes on Winn's tightly-trimmed bush and pelvis. (No cum-shot from Nick.)
Also scorching is a Cassidy and Tim Lake pair-up in front of a random, mostly oblivious dude in the storage room of the local strip club, which occurs as Selena and Traci put on an incredible, blues-fueled striptease onstage out front. The former culminates with Cassidy jerking a spurting load out of Lake onto her chest and tits, while the latter features the downright mind-blowing use of an old-school, champagne-glass bubble bath.
