Review brief: Superfuckers 12 Directed by Pierre Woodman Private Released early 2002, DVD released summer 2002 Cast : Tchanka, Olga, Barbarella, Suzanna (aka Suzy Dark), Lylly Berty, Mary Cat, Crystal, Sandra, Erica Fire, Asian Shan, Titof, Alain Akim Deloin, Bob Terminator, James Brossman, Pascal St. James, Sebastian Barrio, Pierre Woodman And so the story ends, this being the final chapter in Pierre Woodmans Private career, aside from his casting movies. As befits the closing of an era, Private crammed this DVD full of scenes and provided better picture quality than seen in the preceding volumes. The long movie opens with dark, slender, exotic hostess Tchanka, who has since appeared in one of Woodmans Anal Intensive volumes. Shes the figure on the front cover (both sides, tame and explicit) clad in PVC gear, and while shes certainly attractive, something about her turns me off. However, shes only here to introduce the scenes, with her narration dubbed as is standard in this series.

Review brief: Directed by Pierre Woodman Released 4/2001 Cast: Asian Shan, Adrienne Klass, Alexa (aka Krisztina Bella), Angelica Sweet, Christiane de Nerville (aka Nannes Beaumont), Gaby Black, Judit Nemyo, Alain Deloin, Bob Terminator, Chris Lover, Ian (aka Yann) Scott, James Brossman, Pascal St. James I'm a big fan of much of Woodman's work, and this project sounds tremendously exciting. The previews I've seen feature a gorgeous setting, and the later parts include many of my current favorite actresses. Obviously, this story takes place on the French Riviera, and I wonder what Woodman has in store for us? We start on a high note, as incredibly pretty, prefectly figured brunette Angelica Sweet arrives at the Cannes train station. She flags down a taxi and is driven around town. Meanwhile, Pascal St. James, his hair frosted to make him seem older, arrives at his fancy home and greets his family.

I think that's my new name for Woodman's male talent, since he uses the exact same guys again and again, in project after project. He also has has women who are regulars with him for a while, before they move on from porn (a few stick around behind the camera, like wife Tania Russof who is his makeup artist and Gabriella Bond who serves as his Magyar translator). The formula at Private has long been to shoot some separate scenes while making a movie, with the scenes then used in compilations. Since Woodman became an independent contractor he no longer gives his stand alone scenes to Private to be mixed with the work of other directors.

It was the former photographer's second feature, after the 3-part The Tower, and it was one of my first Private viewings. Back in 1996 it seemed incredibly wonderful and exciting, and I was quite annoyed that no store in my area ever carried The Gigolo 2. I contemplated purchasing the set, but for one reason or another always went with different titles. I finally took advantage of the chance to rent the DVD of The Gigolo 2 and scratch a 5-year old itch.
