The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty darn good, just as one would expect from Jules Jordan. There's a couple very minor background nosies, but for the most part it's very clear and well balanced. The video is a bit quizzical. The first DVD is wonderfully presented in anamorphic widescreen, but the second is in the full frame ratio. This really threw me for a loop when I switched discs, and had me dropping a couple e-mails to see if I got some freaky copy or not (thanks to both reviewer extraordinaire Lenny and then director extraordinaire Jules for their quick responses). According to Jules he switched cameras to shoot on HD while shooting this one, and since the old camera wasn't HD and wouldn't allow for the anamorphic transfer he kept the anamorphic scenes together to give the movie a better flow, which seems like a very smart decision to me. There's a few minor inconsistencies to the lighting along with a few shadows, but neither interfere with the action too much. There's also just a touch of grain.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: The back cover lists a runtime of 4 hours. This is definitely true if one takes all of the extras in, but the movie itself doesn't even last three and a half hours. Listing a runtime with all the extras always seems misleading to me, mostly because things like the trailers are shared from DVD to DVD. As much as I hate to do it to a studio that puts out as high class a product as JJV does, to be fair I'm penalizing it a half point on the overall score. The good news is that in their most recent release, Slut Puppies 2 (review coming soon) Jules has changed this and lists both the running time of the movie and the bonus footage showing that yes, as big as he is in the business, he still listens when people have constructive criticism.

Menus: The main menu nicely works together a map with clips of the movie for a decent first impression. The chapter menu shows some very nice care, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene, the name of the girl in it, and a part number for the scene.

The Feature

As for complaints, about all I can have is that the male talent seemed a touch limited with Erik Everhard and Steve Holmes each appearing in three scenes. Granted, they're two of the top guys out there, but having them in half the movie and Erik in three scenes straight did get to me a little. Weapons of Ass Destruction 5 is a must have movie for fans of anal sex and anal cream pies.

The Extra Stuff

The extras are all included on the second DVD. Trailers are included for Ass Worship 9, Black Owned, Breast Worship, Feeding Frenzy 8, Jenna Haze Darkside, Tunnel Vision, and Weapons of Ass Destruction 4. The photo gallery includes a little over forty very nice looking snapshots. In addition to a bio on Jules Jordan, a cast listing by scene is included which once again sadly only identifies the girls rather than giving the guys credit too. There's also cumshot recaps, a behind the scenes featurette, and weblinks.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts just under a half hour and is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. Amy starts things out getting ready and setting things up with Jules before Jules gets in a little cut footage and outtakes. There's a bit more extra footage and a few outtakes with August next, followed by a little more of the same with Cindy and some gum fun. Isabel is next with a little more sex and a few comments between takes before Jamie gets her turn as Steve and Jamie discuss intelligence with Jules. There's even a little extra sex before Jasmine gets in a little extra sex. Finally Amy finishes things up with a little facial footage. This is a very nice extra. It does a nice job mixing plenty of cut footage with a few outtakes so you get a little personality from the performers. Jules comments are also left in so you get a bit of a feel of his directing style. If you enjoyed the movie, you're probably going to want to check out this featurette as well.
