PREFACE:
Up until about 2 years ago, Kick Ass Pictures used to go by the name Toe to Toe Video. That was when they principally only produced the series, Barefoot Confidential. Given its foot fetish specialty, Barefoot Confidential was, and still is a highly succesful series, and includes some well shot sex that even non-foot fetishists would likely enjoy. Toe to Toe changed their name to Kick Ass Pictures when they decided it was time to expand their line of videos. I for one am very glad they did this, as they have come out with some more niche-market specialty series that, while on the less hardcore end, have proven to be high quality, and very enjoyable porn. Grrl Power (an excellently produced sideways slant on the barely legal genre), Chica Boom (a very good latina themed series), and Specs Appeal (girls with glasses) are just a couple of the series that resulted from this company expansion. Kick Ass Pictures' policy for their brand of porn includes funny stories, all natural girls, and all naked sex. With the odd exception, they follow through on that policy exceedingly well. They have a fantastic self-deprecating brand of humor that rarely fails to make me laugh, and they cast beautiful girls without surgical breasts. I can't really get 100% behind the all naked policy, but it sure is nice to see pretty girls with no shoes on--as that can be a less than common site in today's dirty-floored porn landscape.

INTRODUCTION:
Sweatin' It is one of the latest nich-market series that Kick Ass Pictures has begun. The basic idea is to capture "Naked Workouts & Sweaty Sex". I have to admit that I am not completely thrilled at the idea of watching a sweaty, smelly woman working out on gym equipment and then Go Directly To Sex (Do Not Pass the Shower Stall, and Do Not Collect $200). On the other hand, having watched a number of Kick Ass's videos, I've learned to have faith in them. Besides, there's a darn cute young blonde named Heather staring at me from the cover of the box. I hate to rush to judgement until I see what she's all about...

SCENE 1:
LOLA & BRANDON IRON
The Girl
I have to admit a long standing liking for Lola. Not only was she a great performer and dirty talker, but she had a thin beautiful body, and a damn sexy face. There is a bad series of crowd sound effects including laughs, whistles, and "Ooohs and Ahhs" peppered throughout the setup, to give the impression that we're in front of an audience. The laugh track is actually amusing at times, but I've seen Kick Ass do much better in the humor department. A game of sorts is going to be played. Lola is going to ask Brandon questions about herself, and if Brandon gets the answers right, he'll get the lucky "pleasure" of licking the sweat off of a part of Lola's body that is to be determined by a roll of a dice. My guess (and my hope) is that the copious amount of sweat on Lola's body is not actually real, but I wouldn't want to disuade those who might actually be turned on by the idea that it is. It very well could be, it looks real enough. The setup for this scene includes some so-so questions, a fair amount of watching Lola work the machines, and goes on for a full 10-12 minutes before we get to any sex. I'm all for pre-sex tease, but this particular brand really did nothing for me. They finally retire to a bedroom where Lola is still "Sweatin' It" only this time her mouth is working on Brandon's cock. She does a sloppy no-hands blowjob and Brandon gets her to take him pretty deep by Lola standards (which is surprisingly decent, but by no means deep throat). The Gist
This was actually a pretty hot scene once we finally got past all sweat licking and gym pumping. I have to admit that I was still not stroking my own dick much during this scene, as Lola just doesn't look like she used to to me, but I would suggest that you not dismiss this scene outright just because of my flaccidity. This was a surprisingly decent scene, despite the long set up and my lost hard-on for Lola.

SCENE 2:
FAITH ADAMS & ALEX SANDERS
The Girl
Now, oddly... As much as I didn't find Lola's sweaty body attrative, Faith is another story entirely. Faith has a beautiful smile, which we get to see quite often, a tight body with great little tits, and a shaved pussy. Just the kind of girl I like to see. The Action

The Gist
Faith is a hottie to be sure. Not only that, she and Alex give a good performance here. The set up is fun, and the sex is very good. The camera work is disappointing, though, especially during the cumshot, which is horribly captured from the side with Faith lying down--forcing us to tilt our head sideways to attempt to discern what happened. Because of the bad angle, even the head tilt trick brings me no closer to seeing what I want to see. It's a shame, but regardless, there's some nice heat generated in this scene.

SCENE 3:
HEATHER OAKS & JAY ASHLEY
The Girl
Now we come to the blonde on the cover of the box--Heather Oaks. She looks new to the industry, young, and very cute. Heather claims to be 18, and I believe her. The Gist
I'm not much into pro-am stuff, it's just too hit or miss for me. The up side of it is that there can be some amazingly real, and hot sex in pro-am, but the down side is that it can include very nervous girls who never really get into the sex. To me, this scene was a pro-am scene of the latter description. Although Heather is damn cute, she didn't seem to be ready to do an adult sex scene for the viewer--as she had not yet had the chance to do one for herself.

I've seen Candy before, and I have to say she didn't make a big impression on me. Although she's fairly pretty, I remember being fairly bored by her performance. Whoever the set guy is should be reprimanded for his poor choice of furniture though, as this bed (the same one used in the first two scenes of the video) is annoyingly squeeky at times. The two switch positions on the bed, as Mickey G. eats Candy out for a while. The Gist
I think I've already said it all. Candy barely lifts a finger to do anything other than be there for this scene. I'm sure she was hired for her looks (which I do admit that she has), but not her enthusiasm. Candy looked like a clockwatcher to me, and because of that, I didn't enjoy the scene one bit.

SCENE 5:
RHIANNON BRAY & PAT MYNE
The Girl
Rhiannon, while not super-duper gorgeous, is not too shabby lookin' either. She's also got some spunk, which is a much welcome change from Candy, and something I really enjoy in my barely legal porn fair. I really enjoyed the set up this time, not so much because of the sweaty, naked girl (although she's not lookin' too bad), or even because of the kinky questions (which have all been interesting) but mostly because of the good natured fun that Rhiannon and Pat have together. It was fun, funny, and sexy in a light hearted kind of way, and I really enjoyed watching them together. Rhiannon really reacts when Pat "licks the sweat" off her tits, and that alone makes for some good foreplay. Finally, we're back on the dreaded Squeeky Bed of Death and they actually do some real kissing (however briefly) before Pat licks and finger fucks Rhiannon's pussy. Rhiannon looked just fine, but the sex was rather boring all in all, and most of what kept me going were memories of that spunkiness Rhiannon exhibited in the setup--which all but disappeared during the sex itself.

DVD QUALITY
The picture quality, as in most Andre Madness videos is very good. The camera work, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. I've certainly seen worse, but many of the cumshots especially were very oddly captured, and I found myself contorting my neck into unnatural positions and hollering at the screen--giving verbal direction to the camera man that he never followed. Unless I'm going nuts, I've seen better camera work from Andre Madness--but maybe I'm just looking at this one with a more critical eye. The sound was good, and Kick Ass Pictures has better music than most porn studios, and it was not used during the scenes.

EXTRAS:
This disc had the normal compliment of Kick Ass Pictures' extras. It included some cool behind the scenes footage, which on occasion was quite humorous. It also had trailers for some videos in their other series. There was a still photo gallery (but no behind the scenes shots), and I'd like to note that I like the way Kick Ass does chaptering. They don't go as far as Evil Angel does, but their menu system allows you to choose a scene, and then jump to the tease, oral, fucking, and cumshot sections within each scene.

OVERALL:
This is definitely not the best Kick Ass Pictures disc I've ever seen. My lack of interest partially stems from the premise of the series itself. I just don't get off on the idea of watching sweaty girls work out and then have sex. It just left a bad smell in my nose. Beyond that, though, the girls in this one weren't nearly as choice as Andre Madness is generally able to come up with. Faith's scene is the best, but it is marred by an ineptly captured facial. Lola's scene was good, but I just don't have much interest in watching her anymore, even though she and Brandon performed well. Rhiannon's scene started good but ended flat, and Heather and Candy (although both were very cute) were downright boring to watch. The lack of a stimulating set up, coupled with the lack of harder-core sex resulted in a video that included some beautiful girls, but some uninteresting sex. Unless you are really interested in the idea of watching wet, sweaty girls answering some kinky questions and then having some decidedly average sex afterwards, I would recommend you steer away from Sweatin' It, and toward some of the other very good quality lines of barely legal porn that Kick Ass produces, most noteably Grrl Power.
