Whenever I see the name Brandon Iron credited as director, I know I can happily follow along as he leads us into a meditative reflection on renaissance art, literature and poetry…yeah, right! Swallow My Pride is primarily about the consumption of come after rough and ready sex action featuring (mainly) willing young women, with occasional eye-bulging point-of-view blowjobs. Most scenes end with the girl eating additional loads from guys other than her scene partners. In other words, it's another brazen batch of sex scenes from the controversial Canadian that's guaranteed to endear him to feminists and religious fundamentalists everywhere.

Melanie Jagger
I could do without the references to illegally youthful sex experiences that these directors seem to love their female performers to mention, so let's skip the niceties of light brunette Melanie's introduction, and get straight to the point. Fiona Cheeks
The mood is decidedly upbeat as cheerful Fiona (who I first saw in Cum Swapping Sluts 2) introduces her male companions - the always-entertaining Brian Pumper and burly, laid-back Devlin Weed. The two guys are slightly more sympathetic playmates for a young lady, though it might be rude but not dishonest of me to say that with her tattoos and advanced oral skills blonde Fiona hardly fits that tag. In truth I don't find her attractive (her ongoing dental work doesn't help) but she's got an agreeable manner and a good attitude to sex that make her worth watching.

It's a subject I can take or leave and I really could do without a lot of the extraneous factors that detract from what is, at heart, a substantial core of strong sex that surprised and disappointed me in perhaps equal measure. I did enjoy watching a lot of the girls in action, sometimes surprisingly so when on paper the cast isn't exactly to my taste - Cameron being the exception. This girl has big things in front of her!

DVD Comments
Another fine quality production from Red Light - well designed menus, eminently watchable extra footage (a very strong 14-minute bonus scene with Manuel and Brandon taking further advantage of Drew, including some hard throat fucking, plus a 3-minute behind the scenes clip that shows how difficult some of the acts can be to perform - perhaps something we viewers take for granted), photo gallery and a pile of trailers. The picture quality is very good but I did detect occasional blocking and some of the colours are too strong. The sound is a little bit rough in places, but the talk is clear enough. Which is a mixed blessing.
