Stonewall & Riot Review

“Stonewall and Riot” from artist Joe Phillips is a mere novelty item at best, that features a colorful, and I mean colorful, cast of characters, loosely based around a minimal storyline. I was hoping for the more traditional animation, but here Joe delves into the 3-D world with mixed results. Granted, he’s got the bodies, cocks, and pelvic thrusts down, he just needs to work a bit more on the character development and story and get away from some of the corny comedic elements and sound effects. The cityscapes, vehicles, and characters are well done and the whole idea is imaginative. I know this isn’t Pixar by any means, but it had so much more potential.

The film begins with a brief synopsis of the Stonewall Riots, make sure you pause it otherwise you won’t be able to read the whole thing, and then we’re greeted by a villain speaking on safe sex. We’re then whisked away to a penis shaped, actually there are a lot of penis shaped things, lair where Dr. Von Fucking Cock is testing out his Orgasmarator on his assistant, a muscular, hung blond strapped to a table. He’s zapped by it and gets an instant erection whereby he beckons for the doctor in his horny state of mind. The two fuck around in some really good sexual positions, and don’t laugh, but I almost got excited. In any event, just as the two have shot their loads and evil drag queen appears and the two gasp is horror.

Meanwhile, Stonewall and Riot are off fighting crime in another part of Eros city before getting called to investigate the doctors mysterious disappearance. The two make their way throughout the city, visiting a strip club (the dance on stage is really well done) and calling on a villain going by the name of Polecat, to the lair of the Masters of Terror. The Masters of Terror include some villains named Snake Johnson, Bondage Fairy, Anal Conda, and Doctor Probe to name a few. Each has their own unique power that I’m sure you can imagine. “Watch out for those anal beads!”

Did I forget to tell you Stonewall and Polecat do it doggy style? Ha ha. As our heroes visit each under the assumption they’ve had something to do with the kidnapping it always ends in sexual escapades. Stonewall and Riot come to the conclusion they will suck and fuck their way throughout the city until they apprehend the culprits and along the way visit even more villains like, Chicken Hawk, Polar Bear, and Size Queen. Size Queen is actually a giant “Burger King” type where they actually ride his cock and balls till he shoots a massive load. I think you get the idea of the feel for this. The two eventually realize they’ve missed one, the French Tickler, and after a clever musical number from him Stonewall and Riot arrive on the scene. I won’t give away the ending but let’s just say it ends with a bang, a big one!

“Stonewall and Riot: The Ultimate Orgasm” for the most part is campy comic book fun. It could be a whole lot better but for what its worth Joe’s done a fine job of bringing some hardcore action to the animation scene with a wild cast of characters. The DVD has no extras and I wouldn’t pay much over twenty bucks for this.
