Rocco’s Way To Love is indeed one of Rocco Siffredi’s five greatest adult videos and while little of it is versatile, it has it’s problems. First of all, as many reviewers have said about this epic tragic-love-story, do not be fooled by the artwork which features Kelly Stafford wearing an elegant white dress, wielding a pair of high heels in her hand. This is absolutely not a couples video, nor a soft video whatsoever. In fact, it’s even rougher, not to mention more enjoyable than something like the highly celebrated Rocco: Animal Trainer 4 and even The Ass Collector. Two years after Kelly Stafford starred in her first video with Rocco, The Italian Stallion decided to put her in this feature film and obviously, she has indeed been his favorite starlet to work with and as a result, has reamed her ass out for years. I recall reading somewhere that when they first met, he tried to have vanilla sex with her and she rejected, admitting her bizarre craving for anal rape. (Whoa!) Although this isn’t the first, nor the last time Kelly Stafford was chosen to star in a Rocco video with hard buttfucking, this is a feature film to be taken seriously and it makes you wonder if he made this video as to epitomize his own sexuality, or hers (though some would argue that all pornographers shoot their videos like that). To make a long story short, Rocco fell in love with her and in the end, fucked her and killed her-maintaining his complete control over her life (my description of this would probably cause some to think of one man: O.J. Simpson!). This video has won an AVN award and ten years after it’s release, it still holds heavy replay value, unlike most porn, especially released at the time.

There are five sex scenes in this video, with one of them being a mini-scene between Rocco and some girl fucking in a kitchen. Between the sex scenes, there are flashbacks depicting Rocco and Kelly’s relationship, as well as her being strangled to death and police interrogation. The first scene (which was also featured in Rocco’s Hardest Scenes) stars Catherine Count and a few other European natural beauties and a brief appearance with Nacho Vidal. Catherine Count plays a rich head-bitch-in-charge who storms into a home calling the shots. It turns into a scattered sex party with the main focus being on Rocco fucking the holy evil out of Catherine Count. Catherine is naturally very orgasmic and very noisy (see her in Euro Angels Hardball 8 and Rocco: Animal Trainer 4), but when Rocco fucks her in the shitter as hard as humanly possible, Rocco covers her mouth with his open hand and it sounds just like the anal rape scene in Gaspar Noe’s ridiculous Irreversible where Monica Bellucci was “raped” in the ass (which is far from sexually stimulating, but something tells me Kelly Stafford would have gotten off on it). Unlike the sexuality in Gaspar Noe’s hell-on-earth story, the sex in this scene is indeed one of Rocco’s hardest sequences and while it may put some at a serious unease, it’s still very sexy. This violent and nasty anal-fucking scene creates an uneasy viewing experience for some, while for others, it’s the ultimate fuck scene with scattered ass written all over it. The rest of Rocco’s Way to Love probably could not get away with being this rough throughout, so another violent sex scene comes at the end. The second scene deals with two females being fucked by an African guy and a European dude who takes a dildo to his ass (which is uncool; If I wanted to see some guys being treated like gay bitch bois, I’d see one of Bobby Blake’s violent interracial gay videos). The third scene is an all-around nasty, ass-infested anal fuck-a-thon with Rocco fucking three females in the ass, not to mention, loaded with lots of ass play and bondage themes (including a weird moment when a woman’s mouth is gagged with toilet paper). The final scene stars Kelly Stafford offering fellatio to a group of strangers in front of what looks like a graveyard. This escalates to Rocco putting Kelly in a bondage dungeon, bending her over some bondage furniture (a bondage chair or pummel horse, maybe) and fucks her so hard in the ass, as hard as he possibly can, spitting on her and slapping her face roughly, beating her ass and turning her pink. They stop because at one point, she thought he literally broke her nose. They keep going in various positions, mostly doggystyle. Although this is some fucked up shit, the only scenes I can think of where Rocco gets rougher than this are when Rocco fucks Jewel De’Nyle in Rocco: Animal Trainer 15 and even in Rocco Ravishes L.A., where he gives Bobbi Starr’s booty an insanely hard time with her head in a toilet bowl! The truth comes out when Rocco's cousin, Gabriel, is discovered to not only have had an affair with Kelly (there are no sex scenes with Kelly and Gabriel), but is also discovered as the one who choked her to death and is arrested.

Basically, Rocco’s Way To Love is an erotic, pornographic murder mystery about the love Rocco had for a woman, who may have been either mentally challenged or had a freaky and contradictive love/hate relationship with him. The story takes place in the 1800s (although nobody dresses like it, fortunately) and is obviously influenced by the likes of Marquis de Sade and probably Last Tango in Paris. It may have also been influenced by the phenomenon of R-rated, erotically charged mysteries released in the early 1990s, such as Final Analysis, or even Dangerous Game, which starred Madonna as a battered wife who would die for her husband, regardless of how damaged and pathetic he is. Kelly Stafford asks Rocco “Would you kill me if I said ‘please’?” This may make it a hard video to watch, especially for feminists, manginas and anyone else who are serious about promoting female power, male disenfranchisement or who thinks rough sex equates to rape and domestic violence. Pathetic bastards!

Rocco’s Way to Love has immediately turned into my fourth favorite Rocco Siffredi video, with Who Fucked Rocco? and Furious Fuckers: Final Race being his two most impeccable releases of all of his works I’ve seen. I also like the fact that in many of the Rocco videos that I’ve seen which has a story to it, the characters have serious deep-seated issues (even The Dark Side of Rocco depicts Michael Chapman as a man who lost his livelihood because of pussy). I am very glad this video did not end up like Rocco: Top of the World; which is one of Rocco’s five greatest videos, although there’s nothing but a bunch of hyper-energetic, rough grudge-fucking and sword-fighting with no sense of intimacy, sexual heat or nastiness to it. This is why I feel Furious Fuckers: Final Race is Rocco’s second best video because though Rocco dos not star in it, there’s an equal mixture of not just sexual violence, but a severe level of nastiness. This video is full of intimacy between the performers and very nasty. Also, this is a very rough ride, although I still don’t believe even this video could match Jake Malone’s world of sexual violence (which is awesomely depicted in his Fuck Slaves and Bitchcraft series). The only low points are the second scene in it’s entirety (including the mini-scene) and there not being enough ass shots. But, hey. This does require an immediate purchase. Kelly's Way To Love is released after this, which I doubt would be a continuation of this story.
