Our Summer Review

Lucas Kazan’s “Our Summer” is a softcore adaption of the film “Across The Ocean” and is probably one of the best softcore features I have seen! With beautiful landscapes and backdrops, a wonderful musical score, and a cast of perfection this one really stands out. Although there are no “hardcore” shots like penetration, oral or cum shots don’t let that fool you. There is enough nudity, sporadic dick shots and scenes of sucking and fucking that leave it up to your imagination it’s still quite hot! The picture quality is exceptionally clear which brings out the beauty in both nature and the performers. There’s also some brief interviews with the cast, which is pretty much all Italian, and you get a brief glimpse into the background of these guys. It was interesting. For example Ettore is 26 and a go-go boy, Fabio is 21 loves soccer and isn’t much into body building but likes a lean physique, etc.

It begins with Francesco Maldini and Ettore Tosi walking along the desert sand in the buff. They stop to kiss and caress each other, lay naked on the dunes and sensually enjoy each other’s bodies. Artistically done it looks like it could’ve been torn from a coffee table book. Some nice ass shots of Francesco and shots of him sucking Ettore from the distance. Just gorgeous!

Next we find Luca Ferri and Gennaro Grimaldi two young, hot twinks who chase each other among some Italian ruins and get into some foreplay before walking to a park like setting. There they continue until Gennaro fucks Luca as he bends over a hammock, then they lay on the ground to continue. Nice backside fucking shots. Again, it’s not hardcore but comes awfully close.We only see facial shots of them cumming, what a tease!

Marco Ramazzotti I found to be truly hot with his strong features, v-shaped body, ripped abs, tight ass and so forth. This guy is gorgeous! He’s paired off with Andrea Albani who goes down on Marco again among some ruins. The music is nice as birds chirp in the background and they faintly whisper to each other as they fuck. A few dick shots here and there and plenty of Marco’s nice tight, round ass. Andrea takes it up the ass as he leans against a stone wall and then again on his back, legs in the air. Yum!

The scene I found to be the most enjoyable is next with Fabio de Rossi who says although Gennaro has a boyfriend he doesn’t care, he’s so hot he just wants to do him. And so would I! These two young studs rub each others dicks and asses through their jeans until Fabio pulls Gennaro’s down and he goes down. In the background Federico Bulsara happens upon them and proceeds to pleasure himself while watching the two. A nice shot of Federico as he’s sitting on a rock of his big, thick uncut cock. Fabio gets fucked by Gennaro and so forth.

Finally, the only American in the cast is Corey Summers. I don’t think I’ve seen him before and now I’m dying to see him in some hardcore features! A totally cute, young, blonde “all American boy” with a great face and smile! He’s fucking adorable! We see Corey who has invited Ettore here to L.A. and we see the two of them frolicking at the beach, at a playground, and enjoying the sites and each other. They end up poolside and him and Ettore make out. Corey is hot in his tight, green Speedo. He’s just too damn cute! Anyway, he goes down on Ettore and then Ettore fucks him. Corey also sits on top of Ettore and works himself up, then lies on his side and takes it some more. They eventually cum and it fades out and at the very end we see Corey and he talks about his escapades, new found friends from Italy and his memories.

Although this is considered softcore it comes pretty close to the “real” thing and I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I’d really like to see the hardcore version of what it was based on now because I can only imagine if I found this hot that would probably knock my socks off! A great production from Lucas Kazan!
