Synopsis:
This adult movie provides an intimate look into the lives and sex life of married adult stars Aria and Jack Bravo.

Audio/Video:
Marie and Jack: A Love Story is presented with a 2.0 Linear PCM Stereo track, which works fine for the material being presented in the movie. As the movie is composed of interview footage and a sex scene, there is no need for any fancy audio tracks. The audio is well done with no portions where the sound gets incredibly loud or dips down too low. Comstock hasn't included any foreign language tracks or any subtitle options for the feature movie.

Marie and Jack: A Love Story is presented in the non-anamorphic widescreen ratio of approximately 1.45:1. The video quality in this presentation is excellent sporting a nice, albeit slightly soft picture, free from blemishes, artifacts or defects. The colors look a little off at times, but I think that is due to the lighting, not the master. Basically no viewer should have any complaints about the video quality presented here. Normally I would complain about the non-anamorphic widescreen, but since the ratio is so close to that of a standard television screen, it doesn't much matter in this case.

Special Features:
There is only one extra contained on the disc, which does relate to the feature film. There is the complete multi-angle sex scene as it was shot prior to being edited into the film. Both camera angles are present and there are two options for viewing the footage. You can either watch the footage, with the ability to switch between the angles, or you can watch the footage with a picture in picture presentation allowing you to see the alternate angle on the screen at the same time, also with the ability to switch between the angles.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with simple and functional non-animated menus with no background music. There isn't chapter menu available, nor are there any chapters within the feature movie. The disc contains an odd time code, the player registers the time into the movie that you are, but the movie isn't time searchable. Even though the movie is short, without a searchable time code, there should have been some chapter selections put into the title. That way viewers that start the movie can continue watching it later without having to start at the beginning of the title.

General Review:
The movie starts out with Jack talking about meeting Aria intermixed with some shots of them engaged in intercourse. Then the movies goes into Jack and discussing being part of the adult industry and how they view it as a being a married couple. Then the sex scenes starts. The sex scene is interlaced with more interview footage wit the two discussing their sex life.

An excellent aspect to the movie is how the sex scene is presented. Instead of focusing on nasty acts or other such acts, the scene focuses on the beauty and intimacy of the act. About as much time is spent showing the couple kissing, enjoying each other and actually having eye contact with each other during the sex act as showing the act of sex itself. Another aspect to the sex scene that I liked was the lack of emphasis on the cum shot. Usually in adult movies there is a focus on the cum shot and the placement of the semen. In this scene, it just happens and by the time you are aware that it is occurring, it has already happened. There isn't a huge amount of time spent with the male masturbating to release his load. In fact, Jack doesn't masturbate at the end at all, he pulls out to release. The entire movie was a nice break from some of the mechanical sex being produced these days.

The end result is a very erotic movie which is perfectly acceptable for couples viewing. The sex scene is very tame, so viewers who require nasty sex will not find the movie to their liking. Viewers who are looking for just masturbation material may not find this movie to be suitable due to its design. This is more a movie to sit back and watch, preferably with someone you love. The sexual themes in the film is a married couple and vaginal sex with a blow job, pussy eating, pussy fingering, and a hand job. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the movie.

An aspect to the movie that some viewers may not like is that there is interview footage interlaced with the sex scene. There isn't much of the interview interlaced in as most of the interview footage is prior to the beginning of the sex scene or after the sex scene, but there is a little during the scene. They way it was done, I think it flows together nicely, but some viewers might feel that it detracts from the scene.

I like the aspect ratio that the movie is presented in. Given the style of the movie, the widescreen aspect ratio adds to the presentation and makes it seem more film-like than being like an adult video. There are red bars present just before the black bars on the screen. It looks cute at first but my the end of the movie you can get tired of them. They tend to distract slightly from the actual movie. There are a few technical problems with the movie, but nothing major. The camera can be a little shaky at times, nothing horrible, but enough so that you do notice it when it occurs. There are also a few places where there is light glare on the lens. The colors look slightly more natural during the interview portions than during the sex scene. I don't think that the master is to fault, I think it is from light reflecting off the red walls in the room used for the sex scene. As I said in the beginning though, none of this will ruin your enjoyment of the movie.

The only other issue with the movie that I have is that is has a rather short run time. It runs for just twenty eight minutes. I don't think that the material being presented could have been padded to stretch the time without reducing the quality of the material, but the movie would be a slightly better value if another scene with different stars had been present in the movie bringing it up to a sixty minute run time.

Scene Synopsis:
The only scene in the movie features Aria and Jack Bravo and starts out with the two kissing and working over each other's bodies a little before Aria starts giving Jack a blow job and a hand job. Jack manages to get a little pussy fingering in as well before they go into the pussy eating. Then they go into the vaginal sex. To end the scene, Jack cums on Aria's belly.

Parting Thoughts:
Marie and Jack: A Love Story is a great release for viewers that want a title that they can sit down, watch and enjoy free from any nasty or degrading acts. This movie should also be an excellent selection for couples viewers looking for something unoffensive to watch. The movie is a little on the short side, but still enjoyable entertainment. Viewers looking for straight-out masturbation material, nasty sex or a plotted feature will want to look elsewhere. Marie and Jack: A Love Story is very different adult movie and well worth checking out. I look forward to seeing more titles from Comstock in the future.
