Initial Expectations: Roy Karch normally leaves me completely underwhelmed, but I’ve heard some good things about this one so I’m going in with some expectations.

Initial Reaction: It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen from Roy Karch, and a great couples movie.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a light couples movie with passionate sex

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting either nasty or extremely bland sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced with barely a hint of background noises. The video is also very good. It has some very slightly grain, but is wlel lit with most of the shadows appearing natural.

Music: The music is normally nicely balanced with the rest of the audio. It mixes things up a bit, with some having a slightly bluesey feel but most having a fairly fun soft rock feel.

Menus: The menus are pretty average. The main menu has a little animation and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature: Although Nikita Denise married Joel Lawrence to get her green card, they’re also madly in love. After finding love themselves, they decided to help others find it too by starting up a business importing exotic women wanting a green card for wealthy men to marry. As with any business, now and then a problem arises and makes things a little more interesting, such as girls not being who they’re supposed to be.

Nikita Denise starts things off with Joel Lawrence. She’s making herself up in the bathroom when she’s interrupted by Joel, and soon after works his cock into her mouth. She energetically sucks and strokes Joel, and even manages to take his oversized cock into her throat all the way down to the base. Joel tongues, fingers, and spanks her pussy in return, and puts more intensity into warming Nikita up than I’ve seen in every Roy Karch scene I’ve watched combined. This is a surprisingly hot and intense opening scene! Joel and Nikita have amazing chemistry, and seem to know just what each other wants while also wanting to give it to them. There’s some nice trash talking and muttering between both of them throughout the entire scene as well as eye contact, which help this to be a fantastic opening scene. With Nikita and Joel I fully expected this to be an anal scene, but the two of them show that you don’t need anal to make a winning scene.

Justine Romee and Billy Glide get together for the next scene. After Justine interrupts Billy’s workout with a little smalltalk, she makes it worthwhile by helping him with another type of workout. This is another surprisingly good scene, which I guess shouldn’t be that surprising since Justine almost always turns out a good scene. The surprising part is how well the anal and vag mix together here. The anal doesn’t seem at all nasty, and Justine takes it with the same ease and enjoyment I normally expect her to.

After Kelly Warner, a very cute dirty blonde with a great body, turns down a lunch date with Chris Cannon earlier in the day, he stops by to have her for lunch instead. I’m a little torn on this scene. Some of it seems great with nice chemistry. Kelly does a great job trash talking through most of the scene, and kicks things up a notch with some excellent trash talking. On the other hand, just enough that seems off a little, which makes me doubt a lot of the scene. Yes, there’s a lot of every scene that’s faked, but you shouldn’t think so while you watch it. I had that feeling a couple times watching Kelly, but I could also tell that there were times when she was really into it and wanted every bit that Chris could give her.

Nina Hartley, who looks absolutely amazing here, and Steve Hatcher hook up in the penultimate scene. They start things out with some passionate kissing while playfully stripping down and exploring each other. Steve licks Nina from behind before letting her gobble his knob while he fingers and spanks her. Nina climbs on to ride Steve cowgirl style before turning around so he can gaze at her great ass while fucking her from behind. Finally, Steve sprays his man chowder across Nina’s ass.

This is another great scene that far surpassed my expectations. Nina and Steve have both been around long enough to know how to put together a great scene, but sometimes softening things up takes a lot out of a scene. Thankfully, they heat things up throughout the entire scene, keeping both the chemistry and the energy on high throughout the entire time. The playful start combined with high energy and passionate fucking made this another winning scene for me.

Finally, Mike Horner and Alexis Amore, a decent looking Mexican with pretty much everything possible to pierce below her neck pierced, celebrate their meeting with a little champagne and by bumping uglies. Steve licks Alexis’ slit before she reciprocates nicely with an energetic blowjob. This is a pretty hot scene with nice chemistry, but the camera work seemed a little off. The props frequently got in the way, and blocked some of Alexis’ good parts. Luckily Alexis and Mike do a great job playing off of each other, which saves things from getting too far off, but it’s still noticeable and a bit annoying at times.

Mail Order Bride is a nice little couples movie. There isn’t much for the plot, but what there is tracks nicely throughout the movie and does a decent job of setting things up. The sex really saves the movie, which was a huge surprise. Most of what I’ve seen from Roy Karch was so snooze inducing that I felt like checking the box cover to see if there were any warnings about operating heavy equipment after watching his movies. Mail Order Bride, however, starts out hot and heavy and barely slows down the entire time. There’s great chemistry, great energy, and even performers who look like they’re having fun in every scene! It stumbles slightly with Kelly Warner’s scene, but even that one is far above average. Mail Order Bride is a light but hot couples movie that’s worth checking out.

Nina Hartley talks about both her past and how she’s getting nastier and nastier in the future, and I think will completely shatter most people’s ideas about her sexually with the type of movies she’s normally in. Alexis Amore talks a bit about the movie and her past in the industry, as well as showing off her piercings and finishing things up with a message in Spanish. Nikita Denise talks about who and what she likes sexually, as well as a little of her past. Finally, Justine Romee talks about the movie, how she got in the industry, and her website. It’s a nice collection of interviews, and mixing them with short clips of the star’s scene is a nice touch.

Overall: Currently, most of Adam & Eve’s DVDs can be found online for between $12 and $25 with many stores offering them for around $18. This is more than a fair price for what you get here. The movie’s light but filled with very hot sex, the technical aspects are nicely done, and there’s plenty of extras.
