The John Holmes Three Disc Classic Collection from Adam & Eve is a three disc set of some lesser known John Holmes movies. The movies included here are Treasure Box, Marina Vice, and Lottery Lust.

These are fun and a bit nostalgic to watch. The girls all have big, BIG hair and hairy bush. Buck Adams is here as well – remember him? The movies are short – Lottery Lust is the longest at 83 minutes. The audio is not bad, and the picture quality is pretty good considering the source. All of the films were shot on video, and are presented in full-screen. Chapter stops are fair.

The Movies

Treasure Box is the first disc, and this film is from 1985. This movie is only 67 minutes long and stars Gina Carrera, Karen Summer, Kimberly Carson, Melanie Scott, and Tamara Longley. It features bad acting and a silly plot, but it’s entertaining nonetheless. The plot revolves around two fishermen who end up with some rare coins on their fishing trip. They go out for beer and women, and then look for more gold. In between they fuck the pretty girls. John Holmes is only in 2 scenes here. His scene with Karen is pretty hot.

Marina Vice is on disc two, also from 1985. This movie, inspired by Miami Vice, runs 70 minutes, and stars Kimberly Carson, Leslie Winston, Melissa Melindez, Summer Rose, and Tess Ferre. The story here revolves around vice detectives (Buck Adams and BillyDee) who are trying to stop a drug lord (John Holmes) when they aren’t busy fucking pretty girls. A thin plot with hot sex scenes throughout.

Lottery Lust is on the third disc. This film from 1986 runs 83 minutes. It stars Bunny Bleu, Gina Carrera, Melissa Melindez, Nikki Charm, Renee Summers and Tracy Adams. The story here centers on Eddie (Buck Adams) who wins the lottery and has lots of sex, and so do his buddies. This one is campy as well, but the sex is pretty good.

Overall, these are fun and campy movies, but not what I was expecting from a John Holmes’ collection. Worth checking out if you like porn with a plot, or to complete your collection of 80s porn, but not if you’re looking for some of John’s greatest scenes.
