Godfather XXX: A Dreamzone Parody Review

Dream Zone is known for their parodies and for good reason! In July of 2012 they released their Godfather XXX parody. Even though it's a parody there is still a lot of orignal work here. It is NOT a cheap imitation. The transitional scenes have 'laugh out loud' moments throughout. The overall acting is exceptional. The actors are great at subtle comedy rather than going cheesy and over the top. This is an exceptionally 'female friendly' film.

The movie opens with Dong Vito Whoreleon, played by the brilliant Peter Otool. Mr. Otool gives a fun performance that is reminiscent of the late, great Marlon Brando in his ultra relaxed delivery. The best part of Mr. Otool's perforomance is later in the move when he is describing what an old pussy sounds like. As a woman I probably should have been offended. I wasn't. I laughed, hard.

The first sex scene features Michael Vegas, as Sonny Whoreleone, with Bridgette B. I've seen these two in Naughty America offerings as well and they always seem to have a fun chemistry. This sex scene is the 'sweetest' in the movie. With his non-stop drive and some great positions Michael Vegas shows why he is a fan favorite! This is a scene I think any woman would enjoy watching.

The next transitional scene introduces us to Tommy Pistol starring as Michael Whoreleone. There are very good reason Tommy Pistol won so many awards this 2013-2014 season and he shows that right off the bat. Tommy Pistol has a range from serious drama (Best Supporting Actor in Jacky St James' The Temptation of Eve) to broad comedy (Best Director for The Walking Dead XXX Parody, which he stars in as well). In Godfather XXX he goes for a more subtle performance which makes the humor that much sharper. Mr. Pistol and Kagney Linn Karter as Kay play off each other like a couple doing a waltz. Understated, refined and elegant. Yet FUNNY! Best part of this scene? Mr Pistol explaining “That's my family Kay, not me..........”. There is also a first peek at Anthony Rosano as Luca Batzi. Mr. Vegas has a chance to show his own comedy skills here, as well. His timing is impeccable. His delivery is as smooth as silk. The performances of Mr. Pistol and Mr. Vegas are all the more impressive because they compliment each other rather than anyone stealing the scene.

Then there is a short scene wherein Mr. Otool declares “A loose pussy is nature's corduroy” to an adorable Jessie Andrews. I will never know how either of them kept a straight face during this exchange and his 'sound effects'.

Following is a blow-job only sex scene with Jessie Andrews and Mr Pete. Dong Vito Whoreleone has made an offer that can't be refused. You'll never think of the 'horse's head' scene the same way again.

The next scene is Anthony Rosano, as Luca Batzi, with Verucca James. Mr. Rosano, who was just in the AVN and XBIZ Best Comedy Parody of the Year: Grease XXX, proves why he is an industry veteran is this fast paced sex scene. I would have liked to see him have more lines in the transitional scenes.

What follows next is my favorite scene in the whole movie. Michael Vegas, Tommy Pistol and Chad Diamond are a verbal Larry, Mo and Curly Joe as they move the story forward in the funniest way. This scene has so many great lines it is well worth watching twice. In fact, this is one of my favorite scenes in ANY movie! “I feel sorry for anyone who didn't see that scene!”

Next, Tommy Pistol's Michael goes for a 'sit down' with Slutzi played by April Oneil. Here, again, Mr Pistol demonstrates what a master actor he truly is. The dialogue is dry wit and sharp as a knife. The interaction where Michael 'and Slutzi 'speak Itallian' is
hilarious. Ms Oneil ably holds her own with one of the best actors in the industry, today or ever. In keeping with the original movie, Michael steps into the washroom to get a hidden weapon. NOT in keeping with the original, his 'weapon' is lavendar....

This leads into the most intense sex scene of the movie. Michael starts by using his 'weapon' on Slutzi and it progresses from there. We get to see Mr. Pistol bring a hint of his Dom skills to this scene as he fucks Slutzi to death.

After Michael kills Slutzi he has to lay low in Little Sicily....sort of.
Sadly, we move to the death of Sonny Whoreleone. He is shot forty-eight times. I know. I counted. Before giving one final request and dying.

Finally, Michael is reunited with Kay. The dialogue is, again, very funny. Mr Pistol makes this scene funny because he is so committed to the character. Anyone else would have over played it. Michael and Kay share the last sex scene of the movie. I believe this is the longest sex scene in the movie and it is very evenly paced and well done.

Overall, the acting in the this movie was excellent. The writing was witty and sharp. The sex scenes were engaging and exciting to watch. I'd also like to add that while most folks probably don't look for such things, I found the wardrobe to be outstanding. Every outfit was well tailored and high quality, unlike some films where it looks like they went to a bad thrift store. Anthony Rosano rocks a fedora with old school class. Tommy Pistol looks as handsome as I have ever seen him in an elegant black suit. April Oneal wears a pair of high heels that even got me hot and I am not a shoe girl. Verucca James wears the cutest stocking and garter combination ever. Michael Vegas is breathtakingly handsome in slacks and a matching vest.

I would highly recommend renting or buying this movie from Dream Zone Entertainment. I rented it first and enjoyed it so much I bought it.
