The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is nicely done. It’s clear and well balanced, but as always seems to happen with Mike Metropolis’s movies, there are a couple minor but very noticeable background noises. The video leaves me torn. It’s a little artistic, and didn’t quite work for me. I think the video was filtered, but it often comes off a bit darn and muddy.

Menus: The main menu is very nicely done, and keeps a bit of the style of the previous installments while working in some nice animation and a bit of the movie. I love the chapter menu, which lets you choose a scene based on a still similar to the boxcover with the name of each lady added in next to her. There’s also a position menu which lets you go directly to specific positions, such as blowjobs, doggy style, or anal.

Cheating Housewives 3 continues Smash’s series which gives you just that. Each and every scene in the movie revolves around married women cheating on their hubbies, and often involves them doing it to get back at their hubbies or as a punishment for them not treating them right.

Scene 1 - Lisa Ann and Ben English

I can’t say that I’ve been overly impressed with Jenner in the past, but here he does a great job and seems like a perfect match for Aurora. Scene 4 - Carrie Ann and Mark Davis

That said, it’s a very minor complaint as it’s almost always a treat to see Nicole and Voodoo work. Nicole and Voodoo bring this installment of Cheating Housewives to a very hot end.

Cheating Housewives 3 is another excellent installment to what’s been a great series. It keeps its focus on the cheating aspect very well, and the ladies are all very vocal about it throughout the movie. The setups are nicely done, but never go on so long as to interfere with the action. They vary nicely in length, going from a few moments to a couple minutes, and often work in a nice tease to help it work into the sex scene. Lisa Ann easily took the prize for me this time around, but Aurora Snow and Nicole Sheridan don’t lag far behind. Donna Doll also does a great job with her trash talking, but there’s a little something about her scene that had it lagging slightly behind the others that I can’t quite put my finger on. As usual, Mike Metropolis does a very nice job moving around to capture the angle from several positions, but his video style really didn’t work for me, and came off making the movie seem cheaper than it might have. I have to give him credit for trying something different here, which I think it is as opposed to just not caring with how even it is throughout the movie, but to me this is an experiment that definitely didn’t work. Despite a video style I didn’t care for, Cheating Housewives 3 is a darn hot fuck flick that keeps a great run going for what’s become one of my favorite sex series.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about two minutes with roughly five seconds per very nice looking snapshot. Trailers are included for Cheating Housewives, Cum Catchers 3, My Playtoy 3, Six In Me, Whale Tail, and White Wife Black Cock 6. There’s also a behind the scenes featurette and weblinks.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts nearly twelve minutes. Lisa Ann starts things out posing for her boxcover shoot before chatting about being excited about the current guys and anal. Carrie talks about moving around before Aurora and Nicole each pose for their boxcover shoots. It’s a nice behind the scenes featurette that really makes the boxcover all the more impressive. Rather than Photoshopping things completely, Smash actually went with real apples. The only thing that might be more impressive is Lisa Ann, who comes across as one heck of a neat lady. This is a very enjoyable behind the scenes featurette.

Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. This one’s easily worth the lower end. Heck, Lisa Ann’s scene alone is worth a good portion of the lower end. The rest of the sex is nicely hot too, and there’s a fun cheating feeling to it. There’s some good effort put into the extras, but the technical aspects came off as pretty weak to me compared to what I’m used to from Smash. This is a hot movie on a nicely done DVD that could use just a little more polishing.

Note to Smash: I’m not sure what you tried with the video here, but I really hope you don’t do it again.
