Three more movie reviews! Unless a new Buttman movie is released, I am so fucking done with porn this time. This means no more reviewing, renting or buying. I’ve even reduced my DVD collection down to 10 or 11 DVDs. Not only am I doing this to spend more time on more vital things, but this is also to enhance my own sexuality in my personal life. I’ve been watching porn off and on for the past ten years now. And it’s about time to say goodbye.
At first, I wasn’t even going to review this movie, but it would have been unfair for me to leave and not ever review this movie. At this point, I’ll say this is the last movie I’ll review from John “Buttman” Stagliano. If a new Buttman movie coming in the future is worthy of a review for it’s spontaneous content, I may review it, but it’s not guaranteed. This is not only a review for a great Buttman movie. This is my tribute to the greatest pornographer in the history of pornography. His movies are what got me started into watching pornography in the first fucking place and I will unflinchingly watch porn directed by him and Belladonna when I will watch no one else’s. That’s how much I admire his genius. I would love to own only 10 Buttman DVDs, but unfortunately I cannot, thanks to my ownership of flawless works like Gapeman, Belladonna’s Dark Meat, Belladonna’s Fetish Fanatic 4 and even Rocco: Top of the World (which if I do get another Buttman movie, the latter will be the one I part with).
Mr. Stagliano’s movies are very classy and well-crafted, unlike most of the garbage in the video stores sitting around. Many have imitated him relentlessly, from Jules Jordan to B. Pumper, but could never, ever succeed for jack shit. First of all, if some of their works weren’t boring and filled with women wearing too much makeup, they were overtly nasty without having any sense of class or realism. Stagliano is probably the only porn director aside from Belladonna (maybe Jake Malone, even) who could ever get away with shooting incredibly nasty porn and do it right!
Buttman’s Big Butt Backdoor Babes is, in all fairness, the greatest Buttman release between the years of 1989 to 1995, with The Best of Buttman coming in second place and Buttman’s Revenge third. There’s also more sodomy (anal fucking) and analingus in this movie than any Buttman movie from 1989 to 1995. 1996 started a whole new, enhanced and disturbingly perfect era for John Stagliano’s Buttman persona, which lasted until late 2001, with Buttman’s Bend Over Brazilian Babes 3 being his last stroke of genius until the spring of 2006, when Buttman’s Brazilian Ass Fetish was released. From then to date, he has yet to do any wrong (though I have not seen Buttman’s Stretch Class 3). In short, the golden eras of Buttman’s works are really from 1996 to 2001 (where Mr. Stagliano grew as an artist) and 2006 to date (where his movies became more disturbing, tasteful and especially more nastier, thanks to the likes of Buttman’s Beautiful Brazilian Ass and Buttman’s Oddyssey, and also where he brought the best out of starlets such as Aline, Claire Adams, Sasha Grey and especially Velicity Von). Again, this is the greatest Buttman movie from the birth of the Buttman alter-ego in 1989 (with The Adventures of Buttman) up until 1996, where Buttman in the Crack, Buttman’s Bend Over Babes 4 and Buttman’s Butt Freak 2 was given to our raunchy, tabooed, ass-obsessed craving eyes.
From 1990 to, I’d say in 1998 with Buttman’s Big Butt Euro Babes, most of the Buttman movies had this same undercurrent, where in the beginning of the movie, Buttman and his crew show up in some dark and raunchy nightclubs, where many nude dancers work and offer extras on-the-side. Then, you’ll see some of these same exact women later in the movie, getting fucked passionately and sometimes, very silly. The movie starts with a Brazilian swingers couple, I’m assuming, named Raul and Sonja, who are fucking on stage at an adult nightclub. Joey Silvera takes a big booty Brazilian woman named Bruna to a hotel room and get their fuck on. The second scene and one of the three highlights of the film stars Krysti Lynn in her infamous scene with Rocco Siffredi, shot and released before her unfortunate death in December of 1995. Krysti Lynn really lit up the screen and fucked us all in Buttman’s Wet Dream and even her previously unreleased footage in Buttman’s Butt Freak 2, which wasn’t released to the public until she passed away. The tease sequence with her was too bootylicious, with her trying on a thong bikini and some booty shorts, with all her booty hanging, switching and bouncing. There’s more to this sequence only shown in Buttman Confidential, which I believe has been discontinued or out of print and may never be released on DVD, according to Tricia Deveraux (Stagliano’s wife). A young Rocco Siffredi comes in, fucking and sodomizing her and spanking her tail red. This scene is equivalent to the greatness of Krysti Lynn’s scene with Valentino in Buttman’s Wet Dream. Keiko, a Japanese-Brazilian MILF with a big butt who was seen earlier, services Joey Silvera with some burgers and fries. She takes some lettuce, wrapping it around his dick and eating it amid sucking his dick (umm… ok!). She shows of her big butt before she gets driven by Joey Silvera in her vagina and rectum. The sex is slow and steady and lasts until Joey comes and then, she runs away and we never see her again.
Halfway into the movie, we see Eduarda, who’s a big-butt white female, who happens to be the least attractive woman in this movie. She does have a huge booty, though I must say. I can’t tell if she’s European or Brazilian. I know she’s not American. She’s a secretary for some guy. I assume Alexandro? They make out and it’s awhile before he pulls her panties down and gets in her ass with his fingers, dick and tongue. She can really move her huge, curvy body. This would not be the last time we saw a BBW in a Buttman movie. In fact, the best BBWs I’ve seen in his movies include Christy Parks (Buttman’s Big Butt Backdoor Babes 2) and especially this starlet whose name I forget, from Buttman’s Big Butt Backdoor Babes 3, who was a BBW version of Ellen Barkin! This scene wasn’t a bad one, but it damn sure wasn’t special, aside from the tease sequence.
Here’s a Caucasian American sweetheart named Sweetie Pie, who drove me crazy and who I would have loved to see more of. She’s the epitome of a real fucking sweet-and-sour beauty. Not only is she a few steps away from looking like Sheryl Crow, but there’s nothing fake about her butt, tits or legs. Stanley Miranda is a overweight Brazilian sex aficionado, who became a producer and director at Evil Angel from 1999 to 2003. I believe he’s still directing at Evil Angel (although I’ve been told otherwise) but his more recent movies are only available in South America, particularly Brazil. Not in the States, unfortunately. His movies were the shit, especially The Best Ass in the World and his Rio Carnival Orgy series. Joey Silvera is in the back and Stephanie sits away from him, feeling as if he’s obnoxious and vice-versa. They slap the shit out of each other, fussing, fighting (no rough stuff, like Jake Malone’s movies would show years later), then fucking. While Stanley is driving, they get along quite fine and have slow, passionate sex. Joey gets to go up her ass in various positions and he comes heavy on her.
This DVD was released sometime in 2000, when Evil Angel first started putting their movies onto DVD. So, their earlier DVD releases between 1999 to early 2000 were not very good in quality at all and are pretty cheap in that arena. The video and audio quality was acceptable, considering the movie’s age, which is nearly in 15 years. However, the DVD quality isn’t too acceptable. I mean, it’s acceptable if you love the movie and just have to have it on DVD, like me. The special features only consist of a photo gallery, where the photos are very small, a biography for John Stagliano and Krysti Lynn, plus a large fetish menu (which is no longer found in today’s Evil Angel DVDs). The DVD menu is far from excellent, with the music ever-so-low. Then again, this DVD is better than the Buttman’s Rio Carnival Hardcore DVD since the audio quality on the DVD for the latter movie was terribly low and far from clear, which is a shame because that one was released on DVD in late 2002. Also, there’s no extra footage here. I’m unsure if extra footage for this movie exists or not, but there should be a remastered DVD release and we shouldn’t have to wait for a possible Blu-Ray reissue in the future. It’s not the a/v quality I’m concerned about, it’s the cheap DVD menu and the super-small photos in the photo gallery. I am, however, thankful for the reversible cover artwork. But over the years, Evil Angel has made better DVDs with more extras, thank goodness!
I’ve said it twice before: This is the greatest Buttman release from the era of 1989 to 1995. The average DVD quality pales in comparison to how spontaneous this movie is. You’ll get over that in no time. Of course, it’s incomparable to many of the Buttman movies released from 1996 to date. No denying that. For those who are interested in seeing his older works who never have before, this is one of the many to go with. It requires an instant purchase, but for those who are looking for overpowering sex and rough sex with their ass obsession may be disappointed, which, to me, is a shame. Of course it’s no match for the roughness and the nasty and abhorrent dark-side of ass obsession like Buttman’s Beautiful Brazilian Ass or Buttman’s Oddyssey. Don’t let that interfere with the fact that this is an instant classic. Also, if you’re looking for the perfect Buttman movie that you can watch thoroughly, which stars Krysti Lynn, go for this one, or the compulsively obsessive Buttman’s Butt Freak 2 compilation. This is my major and final tribute to one of my heroes. I really hope that one day, he does a very ass-obsessive movie about interracial sex between black men and non-black women, in relativity to the cuckoldry/swingers lifestyle.
