Ever see one of those old "how your grandparents did it?" flicks, those murky, grainy, B&W things with bad editing and horrible sound (if any)? Imagine that in color and you have an idea of what to expect here.

This is a compilation tape of lesbian loops from the 80s, and that seems to be the only thing that really links everything together. You get a good variety of things: some scenes appear to be pieces from movies. Some look like the short items that men's magazines used to sell of their featured model of the month. The upside is you get favorites like Christy Canyon and Trinity Loren when they were young. You get some rare Keli Stewart, and there are beauties who are largely forgotten. The downside is that this doesn't necessarily present them at their best.

Fourteen girls in twelve scenes (eleven and a "bonus"). The scenes are numbered and there's no ID at all, so if you don't recognize a performer, you're screwed. Since I don't know a lot of these girls, this is going to be pretty vague.

Scene 1: Trinity Loren is masturbating in a video store when she's joined by two blondes (might be Colleen Brennan, don't know the other).

Scene 2: a blonde and Rachel Ashley(?) are nude sunbathing on a boat on a lake, and begin masturbating side by side, then help each other out more.

Scene 3: I think it's Colleen Brennan with Christy Canyon, who do each other in the kitchen in a heavily filtered "dreamy" scene.

Scene 4: a brunette and a blonde (Buffy Davis?) in an office.

Scene 5: a maid gets a visit from her lesbian fairy godmother

Scene 6: a brunette is masturbating on her bed when she's joined by a friend

Scene 7: two brunettes, one interviewing the other for something or other. Poor quality video.

Scene 8: a blonde and a brunette on a couch. Even worse video quality.

Scene 9: another blonde and brunette on a couch.

Scene 10: a video centerfold with Christy Canyon and Keli Stewart--mainly just posing

Scene 11: a blonde and a brunette on a sofa

Scene 12 (bonus): Kitten Natividad and Lee Carroll (credited) and a sofa. Marginal video quality but good sound.

Some scenes have toys, some don't. No strap-ons. Lesbian action is the turbo-fakey stuff you see most of the time--lots of moaning and groaning even when nothing's going on; a quick peck at a tit and then dive in to the pussy. Bad dialog. The whole hairy enchilada.

Special Features: There's one bonus scene (Scene 12 above) though I don't really know why it's listed as a bonus and not part of the rest. There's also a photo gallery and a trailer for another big-boob title.

Production values: the video qualty varies from pretty good to downright crappy. It's the sort of thing I'd expect from stag films of the 40s but not from the 1980s. By modern standards they're terrible, but if you like a particular actress here, it's watchable.

Likewise, the DVD itself is barely acceptable. There are 11 titles and they're numbered only. Chapter stops jump between titles only. This is a bare-bones feature.

Final verdict: If there's a particular actress you really want to see (especially one of the obscure ones here), it's passable. But as a DVD on its own, it's lacking. There are some "bra-busters" but not as many as you might expect. The sex varies from okay to incredibly lame, the video and audio quality are depressing, and God help you if you want to know who a particular actress is, because there's no way to match a name with a face here. It's seriously lacking on all levels.
