Asia Noir 4 Review

Synopsis
Asian Noir #4 is not for everyman’s tastes (or every women for that matter!) However, for the experienced viewer of porn who has become tired and jaded of the “same-ole same-ole” passing as Gonzo these days, David Aaron Clark’s descent into the depths of seduction and degradation in this video – indeed in this entire series – is a true gem of creativity and artistic endeavor. There are a few hit-or-miss type situations, but the ambitiousness with which it is filmed alone makes this a must see if you like:

*Hot Asian females
*Hot sex
*Great interracial action
*Imagination and a beautifully crafted visual narrative thread
*Did I mention extremely hot sex?

DAC combines some downright luxurious cinematography (is that even a term in porn?) with great wall-to-wall sex scenes that are painstakingly set-up and well executed. While I often tire of directors who attempt “art for art’s sake” and miss the boat entirely, this DVD succeeds in presenting hot sexual encounters tied together in an imaginative thread full of dark desires, mystery and eroticism.

The Cast
As with previous editions of this AVN award-winning series, the cast here is exceptional. As always, Luci Thai does not play. She turns in a scalding performance and is just a perverts delite to look upon. Truly, this starlet is amazingly sexy with a cock betwixt her luscious lips! Lucy–with-a-Y-Lee has never been so well presented as here. This Korean Syren brings all the sensuality, seduction and sexuality that the term “Asianatrix” suggests with her lithe body, pouty lips and smoldering eyes. Kylie Rey seems to be a favorite of DAC’s and he perhaps lenses her work better than any director yet. She is so damn adorably cute that the older viewer (ancient guys like me) battle feelings of perversion over just how much heat this little darling can bring. And bring it she does! And Maja Lee shows herself to be the accomplished actress and naught-nasty girl anyone who has ever stumbled upon her website has long suspected her to be.

However, what I found especially refreshing in this disc was the introduction of Lacey Tom. This reviewer is unfamiliar with any other of her works if there are any, but she is quite an attractive find at 5’03, 100 lbs and an awesome set of all-natural 34c breastesses. Now Lacey also may not be to every audience members liking. If you are stuck on the hyperbolic wailings of most of this day’s female performers, you will probably pass on this gem. Lacey is obviously a little on the shyer side for a pornlet and many of today’s director’s would take that as a challenge to “bring her out.” Clark, however seems to realize that sometimes when working with a sublime, beauty like Lacey, it is best to let her be Lacey. The understated and natural way she comes across is a seduction of an entirely different kind and it draws the viewer deeper and deeper into her performance. Lets hope we see more out of this woman – and lets hope noone does the disservice of trying to change her demeanor – it works!

The Sex
This disc is definitely one couples could enjoy together. The sex is visually sumptuous, and the settings well done. DAC is fond of foreplay (another missing element in a lot of today’s porn) and allows his camera to linger lovingly upon the faces of his women – recording desire, lust, sexual satisfaction and the joy of release without a word. The time spent establishing Maja Lee’s domination of an encaged Sledgehammer- with plenty of teasing kisses and licking - only leads to more and more desperation for release on his part and on the viewer’s part…I was practically panting for her to do him already! Do not, however, mistake this for merely “another couples’ film.” The sex is more than hot enough. Luci Thai’s tryst with a restrained Sledgehammer is so hot I had to replay it twice befor going on! For me, she is often not made-up to look half as gorgeous as she truly is a lot of the time – but the make-up and costuming here is excellent…it would be hard to find a better natural body in porn today. Watching Kylie Rey take Mr. Marcus’s dick into her well-watered mouth was worth the price of the disc in itself. She gives one of the better head-jobs onscreen today and appears to have been created for the purpose of sucking Black cock! This (Black) reviewer was quite appreciative of this scene. And watching Lucy Lee pushing Rey through the paces of a very thorough fucking of Mr. Marcus, complete with plenty of shots of her enticing rear-end was superbly exciting. Seeing Lucy push Kylie further and further down on Marcus and watching her force Kylie to grind with vigor on his dick was orgasmic - accompanied as it was by Kylie’s squeals and moans. Lucy Lee herself truly captures this movie. She embodies all the tease, all the please, all the exotic seduction that the movie represents. Her costuming, make-up and camera angles are superbly done to showcase this performer as a woman truly coming into her own. Her maturing process from a little porno hottie to a bonafide, womanly, sleek and sexy “Asianatrix” is palpable here and simply elevates the movie all the more.

The DVD
Risking seeming like a “homer” with nothing bad to say, I found the camera-work, the sound and the elaborate costumes to enhance the scenes without distraction. The package includes two nice bonus scenes, bios and a photo gallery. My sole complaint with regards to the extras would be that I would have liked to see more comprehensive bios. Lacey Tom was an interesting addition to the cast and any other work she may have would’ve been appreciated. Viewers more accustomed to set-‘em up and fuck ‘em films will not like this DVD at all. The stretch for literary allusion is a little forced at times, but the sex, the settings and the performances all made for a very viewable movie and an entirely different porn experience.
