review from 5/1/2007:
In the wasteland where men and women are beyond love or even like, sex is just there for survival. So goes the theme for this release, which builds some good darkness and intensity into the sex but doesn't confuse it with nastiness. There's a slight feeling of alt-porn here due to the apocalyptic feeling of the movie that comes across as a bit more unique due to some nicely handled editing. Unfortunately the lighting is a bit low leaving lots of shadows and the camera work sometimes falls a little shy. Still, if you want something a bit darker and more unique than the usual porno, this is a DVD that's well worth checking out. [read the full review]

review from 7/27/2007:
Sturgeon Court continues to show himself as one of the best directors out there when it comes to cocktease movies. Here he lets Mika Tan and Nicki Hunter tease and deny Josh Hunter on their own and then together through three very hot and nicely done scenes that each have just a touch of an artistic eye to them. The technical aspects are pretty good, but sadly there's nothing here for extras outside of a pair of really great menus including what might be the best chapter menu I've ever seen. If you enjoy cocktease movies or are even just curious about them, this is a great release to check out. [read the full review]

The Little Details Running Time: 64 min. Production Date: 5 / 3 / 2006 Director: Sturgeon Court Cast: Mika Tan, Nicki Hunter, and Josh Hunter The Short Story Initial Expectations: The little I've seen from the Venus Girls has been very well done. I can't help but look forward to this one. Initial Reaction: It's a great cocktease release with the only fault being the lack of extras on the DVD. Who Should Watch It : Fans of female domination and cockteasing Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting actual sex The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is very clear and well balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single background noise. The video isn't quite as good, starting with the widescreen presentation being given a non-anamorphic transfer rather than the anamorphic transfer it deserves. It has a few minor lighting inconsistencies as well as a touch of grain and a little minor camera motion. [read the full review]

The Little Details Running Time: 62 min. Production Date: 4 / 5 / 2006 Director: Sturgeon Court Cast: Jessi Castro, Nicki Hunter, and Gino Greco The Short Story Initial Expectations: The Venus Girls have made some great female domination and cocktease movies. I'm really looking forward to this one! Initial Reaction: It's another nicely done cocktease release. Who Should Watch It : Fans of cockteasing Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting actual sex The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single problem. The video is also nicely done. It's presented in the widescreen format, but sadly it was given a non-anamorphic transfer rather than the anamorphic transfer it deserves. The video has a slightly washed look from a fair amount of natural light. Although this can sometimes interfere with the action, here it seems quite right for the look of the movie.
