Initial Reaction: Its beautiful, but not exactly deep (even for porn). Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting beautiful locations for sex or more group sex than one on one action Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting more plot than scenery with their couples porn The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The audio is a bit of a mixed bag. Most of the time its nicely done and allows you to hear the dialogue clearly. [read the full review]

review from 10/8/2002:
Conquest is a fun plot-based adult film that is sure to please fans of tamer sex and porn with a plot. The plot is more developed than most modern adult erotica boasting great sets and costumes. Some viewers may be turned off by the slow motion used in the sex scenes or the developed plot portions of the film. Due to the tame sex, couples audiences may find this film to be perfectly accessible. Viewers who hate a plot will probably find this film not to be of their liking. For those who think the film sounds good to them, I heartily recommend purchasing it as chances are you will find yourself re-watching this title. [read the full review]

review from 9/25/2000:
The Plot: Yep, not every great movie makes a whole hell of a lot of sense. Conquest is a good example. Our lovely tale of lust and torn bodices starts with a hanging. John "Dutch" is about to die for his crimes as a pirate. Sentenced to hang by his neck until dead (Does anyone just hang by the neck until uncomfortable?), John is rescued at the last second by his Captain, his fellow crewmen and the timely intervention of a chick with big tits. Naturally, no good deed goes unpunished, and we are treated to watching the crown prince (hilariously overplayed to perfection by somebody who deserved more credit) rant & rave about "Blackheart", our hero. Speaking of our hero, he and his crew are resting in the Batcave before setting sail. Captain Steubing receives a navigation chart and instructions to meet up with the rest of his crew at an uncharted island. Instead of thwacking the guy over the head for giving him a chart and instructions for an uncharted island, he wanders off to brood over the loss of his family. [read the full review]

This is a big budget adventure on the high seas. The girls are all gorgeous, but the action is a little slow for my taste. Likely to appeal to couples and people who like big budget films. [read the full review]

review from 5/31/2004:
Title: Conquest: Special Collectors Edition Released by: Wicked Pictures Normally you dont hear "adult film" and "special collectors edition" together in the same DVD. But the folks at Wicked Pictures brought the two together quite well. Ok, lets start with the movie. This is a movie about pirates that actually uses a REAL ship. Were not talking the set of a ship or an elaborate mock-up with a green-screen ocean. Im sure that set producers back quite a bit, which probably also explained why they only used ONE ship. Period costumes, period weapons, and some attempts at period language. Now without even watching the opening credits, I knew that this was an Adam & Eve production, even if it was released by Wicked Pictures. How do I know, you ask? Because of the excessive use of slow motion, especially during the sex scenes. Well fortunately they dont go overboard as they did with some other movies ("Caribbean Undercover" comes to mind). (Repeat after me: sex plus slow motion equal BORING!) There IS a story in this movie. [read the full review]

review from 2/18/2004:
Jenna Ink Wicked Pictures Date of Production 6/18/96 This is one of the Jenna Jameson/Wicked Pictures vignette type of movies she did. This was directed by Brad Armstrong and was shot back during 1996 when Jenna did most of her boy/girl work. The story is simple Jenna plays a tatoo artist and after she gives a customer a tatoo we get a fantasy that the tattoo symbloizes. Scene 1- Jenna Jameson and Alex Sanders- This is one of Jenna's most famous scene where she has on the Angel Wings. Alex Sanders the "Martial Artist" himself gets his first solo scene with Jenna after working with her in 3 ways in, "Conquest" and "Jinx". He starts off eating Jenna's pussy while Jenna is standing up, then Jenna goes down and gives him a nice blowjob, this is when Jenna really started coming into her own with giving head. Then we get Alex Sanders giving Jenna some doggie style and then a regular cowgirl position before Jenna strokes AS off all over her face. [read the full review]

Jenna Ink Jenna Ink by Brad Armstrong Wicked DVD/ 1996/ 73 minutes   DISC FEATURES   Specifications: - DVD-Video - Single-sided Single Layer   Aspect Ratio(s): - 4:3   Audio: - English   Standard Features: - Interactive Menus - Scene Access   Additional Features: - AVN Award Winners & Nominations - Trailers - Photo Gallery - Audio Bios Starring: Jenna Jameson, Alex Dane, Missy, Felecia, and Kia Synopsis: I did not know where this movie was going or even it had a plot so I will type down the company hype: "Sometimes it's worth suffering a little pain, especially when the lovely Jenna's dishing it out. She's the hottest tattoo artist in town, covering customers bodies with her wild creations. It doesn't take long before she starts fantasizing about her clients.  Overall: This is a weak title and I don't understand why Jenna achieved such a massive audience. The only Jenna Jameson that has stood out where she turned out a good performance was from the My Plaything: Jenna Jameson DVD. DVD Quality:  For a 199 [read the full review]

Running Time: 73 min. Production Date: 6 / 18 / 1996 Director: Brad Armstrong (who also wrote the script with the help of Jenna Jameson) Cast: Jenna Jameson, Missy, Kia, Felecia, Alex Sanders, Brad Armstrong, Sean Rider, and Mickey G. Initial Expectations: Wicked, Jenna, and Brad Armstrong have made a great team so far, so Im expecting another very good DVD. Initial Reaction: Its a typical, well done, Brad Armstrong almost all sex feature but the DVD as a whole seems a little shy. Who Should Watch It : Couples, fans of Jenna and Brad Armstrong, and anybody who likes hot, slightly artistic sex. Anybody who enjoyed Pure should pick this up as soon as possible. Who Should Avoid It: Plot and hardcore fans. Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Wicked, the audio and video are great. This feature is almost five years old and looks and sounds better than many features released today. There are a few places in the feature that are blurry, but they appear to be deliberately blurry. Bangkok Boobarella Studio: Big Top Starring Female: Asia Carrera, Suzi Suzuki, Kellei, Kia, Minka Looks: Great looking Asian women. First Impression: Beautiful Asian women. Hey this was voted Best Asian movie of the year. It is also supposed to a great Big Titty movie! Oh how sad I was duped by this. Likes: Cute Asian Girls. Dislikes: This DVD. Not even Asias scenes can save this DVD. Talk about crap. Crappy story. Crappy dialogue. Boring Action. Jittery DVD. Bad Video Quality The Echo Audio effect It is like I see them talking but they dont say anything till their echoes show up. Review: Oh man was this a terrible DVD. It claims to be the best Asian movie of its year. If it really is the best Asian movie for the year it was released then those other movies must have sucked worse then used enema pipes. First off the plot was terrible, hey what was I expecting its a porno. So this guy is looking for an Asian woman with huge breasts to fill this big oversized bra he's found. He puts an ad out it the paper. [read the full review]

review from 2/11/2000:
The Plot: You know, its a pity to start a review on such a downer, but this is really the failing point of the movie. The movie is supposedly about our favorite perpetually confused generation, with no role models and no goals in life, right? Being a member of the tail end of Generation X myself, I was hoping that this movie would have some people my age doing the old what have I done with my life? routine in a coffee shop. (This would, of course, lead to sex in the coffee shop.) I dont know what I was thinking. Its a porn movie, for nogs sake. This movie is completely devoid of any plot whatsoever. There is dialogue, there is some semblance of time passing linearly, but thats about it. Our plot follows the adventures of some apartment dwellers as they go through one day. We start with Tom Byron annoying the hell out of his neighbor Roxanne Hall by blasting his stereo and playing on his air guitar. We set up the fact that she cant work while he plays his music. Then, we jump jarringly to a photo shoot of Nikole Lace and Sindee Coxx, who are performing for Alec Metro. [read the full review]
