Possessing special powers that allow them to turn both frigid housewives and uninterested daughters into naughty nymphomaniacs with but a single fuck, Dickman (John Holmes) and Throbbin (Tom Byron) spread the love in "The Erotic Adventures of Dickman and Throbbin". An otherwise-good, 1986 release from Western Visuals and Jerome Tanner, the version of this flick available at adultempire.com as a part of their (...excellent, I might add...) unlimited streaming service seems to be missing the last few scenes (at least according to the scene list at iafd.com). Interestingly, a quick check of various other digital porn providers seems to indicate that this is the rule and not the exception. This sad decision on someone's part, of course, means that the plot is cut short, as is the sex. That said, what is included is still hot, and the Amber Lynn, Tom Byron, John Holmes boinking remains intact. While it's difficult to fully recommend a heavily cut version of a film, this one is still fun. [read the full review]

1001 Erotic Nights #2 is a 1986 feature recently released on DVD as a VCA Classic, which is not a strong testament for porn of that era. While the action has moments of heat, this is typical 80s smut heavy with dialogue, poor attempts at humor, period costumes, and bad acting. The story opens with a 3-on-1 blowjob. Francois is the Sultan, and also the lucky recipient of the oral pleasuring by Kristina Barrington, Bunny Bleu, and Sandy Summers. There is too much slow motion in this nine-minute scene for my taste, but you can sense the enjoyment Francois is experiencing before he blows his load on their faces. The Sultan decides to throw a contest to find the sexiest girl in his kingdom. To my surprise and delight, DMJ 3 and DMJ 4 are in fact one film. While titled as sequels to Damiano's 1973 masterpiece, DMJ 3 /4 is closer to a remake, or even more appropriately, a re-telling of Damiano's tale. In fact, besides the name of the heroine and the film itself, as well as the basic premise of a woman dying and ending up in Hell, this film has no similarities to either of the earlier two entries in the series.
