Production Date: 2 / 20 / 2004 Director: Paul Thomas Cast: Jenna Jameson, Savannah Samson, Wendy Divine, Evan Stone, and Justin Sterling in sexual roles and Tina Tyler, Mandy Bright, Rachel Rotten, and Sunrise Adams in non-sex roles The Short Story Initial Expectations: I dont have many fond memories of the Masseuse series, but I cant help but be curious with this female cast. Initial Reaction: Its well done, but has some definite faults. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants a lot of plot and kinkiness Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a lot of sex The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The audio is okay. Its nicely balanced, but there are a few places where it doesnt synch. Part of me thought it might be Thomas trying to be a little more artistic because its done almost as a voiceover, but even if he was it just didnt work. "A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" I have had two experiences with Vivid Video. This is my second. I have to say, if they released more movies like this, I would buy them a lot more often. The Movie: Normally I talk about the sex and the plot seperate, but it's very hard to do that with this film because both are so tied together. The basic story is of a fairly nerdy, yet attractive young man who becomes obsessed with a masseuse. The story is simple, and yet, because the entire cast is great in their roles, it feels so much deeper. The script is very strong, the direction is very proffesional, and the acting is top notch. Now, I know Jenna is on the cover, but this isn't really her movie. The movie actually belongs to her real life husband, who plays the lead nerd. He carries this movie, and does an amazing job. I was very suprised. This is a hard movie for me to call a porno because, while the sex is graphic and very hot, it really is more because you are invested in the characters that you are watching. Well fresh from chatting with Jenna the other night I decided to give this title the ole once over. It has two big name stars going for it with Jenna and Bella. You also have the ultra hot Monica Sweetheart making this a power trio of babes to look forward to watching. This is unlike any Jenna Jameson movie I've seen and whether or not that's good or bad for you I suggest you keep watching to find out. The Premise: First off you get a long title sequence where the lengthy cast is listed all the while disturbing images flash on the screen. This movie does have a plot which may or may not confuse you! As far as I could tell Jenna has led a rough life as her parents died on her quite young but it was months before this was discovered so young Jenna was forced to eat her parents in order to survive. This naturally fucks her head all up causing a life of institutionalization and while locked up it seems she snacked some more on living people leading to the opening sequence where she's being led down the hall. I Dream of Jenna Directed by Justin Sterling & Jenna Jameson Overall Impression I went into this one with low expectations since I'm generally not a huge fan of couples porn, plus although there was a lot to like about "Briana Loves Jenna" I felt the directing left a lot to be desired. While to my surprise I quite enjoyed this one. "I dream of Jenna" is populated by a well rounded cast of veteran performers and that is exactly why I think this film manages to succeed. Jenna, Nikita, and De'Nyle in particular are three very sexually aggressive personalities all of which command so impressive screen presence. Watching them interact with each other as well as some top notch male talent made for some enjoyable moments. Not to mention some enthusiastic performances from the likes of Inari Vachs, Lezley Zen, and Aurora Snow. Although I personally would still consider this disc couples friendly plot driven porn, there is still a healthy dose of down and dirty sex to keep me interested. [read the full review]
