Jonni Darko's latest entry in the blow bang category, this disc delivers great throat action, lots of "wet food" -- including copious amounts of throat drool -- and several hot ladies. Sloppy facials abound, which is why we come here. It's well-lit, deftly lensed, top-drawer porn -- for those who like blow bangs, and whose tastes lean to a range of female talent. So, for some guys, individual ladies may not appeal, and their scenes might justify (as it did in my assessment) a slightly lower rating than the disc would have justified if all the women were 10-plus scorchin'. Bad Luck Betties is a very entertaining film from Winkytiki, with a vibe that builds off of his earlier Rebelle Rousers (Kimberly Kane even makes a cameo here as her character from that movie.) The style has a very rockabilly, b-movie feel, with great effects meticulously pieced together by the director. The outfits and set-ups here work tremendously and make for a really fun vibe. On top of it, the original soundtrack perfectly fits the movie. There's just enough story to follow and keep things intriguing, but it never gets overburdened with details. [read the full review]

Gonzo's current reigning king on the strength his significantly superior technical skills, which are constantly and consistently improving, Darkko became Eva's Svengali and the man who would provide her shot at immediate redemption. A sneak peek at Jonni's latest "alphabet" film hit the 'net on November 29, 2007 with the full trailer following shortly thereafter on December 12th. Indubitably stamped with the poise, precision and patience we've come to expect from Darkko behind the camera, Angelina, alternately portraying both predator and prey, tore through each part of the preview, seemingly in seek-and-destroy mode throughout, going for the kill in every scene. Once the Eva-lution contingent caught wind of this, anticipation grew out of control. But along with great buzz comes tremendous pressure to produce. Rest assured, E FOR EVA delivers.
