I am just back from Vegas and after seeing the lovely Lea De Mae several times at Zero's booth I decided to make this my first post show review. No big mystery as to what this series is about. Unfortunately Kovi seriously dropped the ball in my opinion. It's not that he is untalented, because he has made many fine movies for Private's other lines like the Black Label line, but rather he never captured the edge or kink factor that made the previous Pirate titles so exiting. So needless to say I was very curious to see what this unknown female director was going to bring to the table. Judging from the boxcover pics alone I liked where she seemed to be going. This movie is certainly a step in the right direction for the Pirate line, but not quite in sync with the level of quality achieved by Thring and especially Hyde.
