Stalker (Sin City) review summaries:
Linus'
Sin City Ultra presents: Stalker Directed by: Francios Clousot - Initial Thoughts: The last couple of Sin City feature films, have impressed me a great deal. In an age when feature films are either really bad or barely mediocre, with just a few great examples of adult film coming out from a few studios, Sin City has seemed to have made a serious effort to rejuvenate the genre. Vivid's idea that a feature should not exceed 70 minutes wasn't getting it, and Wicked and a few others that usual do get the features right, have been dipping down that road too often on occasions, so I have found it a great change of pace to see Sin City come out with over 2 hour epics lately and most importantly, put in some proper effort. This disc stays right along that path of recent successes too, as we follow Hannah Harper who plays Holly, a lingerie model with a dick head of a boyfriend and watch a man completely obsessed with her fall down the path of the darkside and end up in worse shape than Annakin Skywalker in the process. Undertow review summaries:
Tongue in Groove's
Undertow is a better than average porn flick. It features something rare indeed for the jizz biz good acting and a decent plot. Unfortunately, the cast doesnt put as much work into the sex as they do into their dialogue. Steven St. Croix, arguably the best actor in the industry today, is host of an underground TV show titles Thrill Kill Zone. The show deals with street racers. Because of his involvement in that sport, he is recruited by Dale DaBone to be an informant for the FBI as the agency tries to get the goods on Irish terrorist Evan Stone, who is also involved in the illegal races. This may be the first porn movie in history to include not one, but two, sword fights on a beach. No, not those kind of swords; real Japanese fighting swords. Theres pretty good editing as Evan and Steven battle on the sand and look convincing while doing it. But we watch porn for sex, and there just isnt enough heat among the performers to make it very interesting. [read the full review]

morbidthoughts'
I originally wrote a longer review revealing plot points and such but it got lost. So this is a defacto quick & dirty review from memory. Steven St. Croix is a lawyer and is an asshole. Two things that hits close to home. He cheats on his wife with many women, makes life a living hell for his coworkers, and refuses to give his wife a divorce despite her knowing his adulteries because... he actually might love her in a sick way. You just can't help but root for the guy. Steven St. Croix & Aurora Snow: Steven just had a long day of power games with Evan Stone. How does he relieve his stress? By visiting one of his mistresses. Aurora as always looks great and a complete sexual dynamo. She controls this scene but the lighting is an artistic overexposed window lighting with a bluish tone that annoys the hell out of me. I'd rather see Aurora in realistic colour. Scene ends in a facial. She tells him she loves him. You don't tell that to a power hungry lawyer without giving up the butt! Friends & Lovers (Sin City) review summaries:
Linus'
Friends and Lovers Initial Thoughts: This one is decent, it has some goods and some bads as usual in almost anything but especially porn. The goods are for starters, the very hot cast of ladies, a pretty strong list of extras and generally some nice looking eye candy style sex. The bad would start with the fact that for a couples aimed feature sex movie, the sex is not all that passionate and at times there isn't a lot of chemistry showing through in the scenes. The editing is also rather poor and many of the camera shots have that cable version feel to them, and it really doesn't help to generate any sexual heat. As far as the story goes, don't hold your breath, basically this group of friends and fuck buddies get together for a party or barbecue if you will, and most of them end up fucking one another throughout the course of the movie.
