Irresistible is a fun film from the early 80s that never takes itself to seriously. The story is cheesy and some of the props are lacking, but the film makes for a fun watch. Unfortunately, this version from VCX has been heavily cut, for seemingly no good reason, which has removed part of the story from the film and most of the point behind it. If you've never seen the film, you probably won't notice the edits, but if you have, you're sure to notice something is missing. The transfer isn't the best, but it's better than many other releases from VCX. If you are a fan of the classics and don't mind having an edited version of the film, this disc is worth picking up, but I'd wait for it to be on sale. [read the full review]
