Flash's
review from 7/6/2004:
Fans of Golden Age erotica will definitely want to pick up a copy of Deep Throat as no classic collection will be complete without it. Out of the two versions available now, this is the one to pick up. The movie has been restored to it's original theatrical version and Arrow has even managed to put together some extras to go with the film. Viewers who are just interested in seeing what all the talk was about are better off renting the title first as if they are used to the films of today, they are bound to be disappointed. review from 6/20/2016:
The virginally naive Candy Christian (played by the blonde bombshell, Carol Connors) unwittingly embarks upon the sexual adventure of a lifetime when her father ends up in the hospital after catching her getting it on with the hired help. Thereafter, Candy finds herself bumbling her way from one end of the country to the other, being taken advantage of by strangers, doctors, a cult leader, and even family members along the way. Fortunately for her (...and the viewer, as well...), she's more or less too ditzy to realize any of it and simply goes along for the sexy ride. Such is the case in the "Erotic Adventures of Candy", a very good, 1978 release from VCX and director Gail Palmer. [read the full review]

review from 6/15/2016:
Just about every guy in town takes a turn when Candy (Carol Connors), a naive blonde who's equal parts dopey and leggy, arrives on the corrupt, 1970's Hollywood scene. Indeed, the bubbly babe finds herself passed around from one user to another--from agents to TV show hosts to directors and so on--as she bumbles her way toward a supposed acting career under the guidance of her less-than-scrupulous agent, John Leslie. Fortunately for her--and the viewer, really--she's too ditzy to realize any of it, and she simply goes along for the sexy ride. Such is the case in "Candy Goes to Hollywood", a very good, 1979 release from VCX and director Gail Palmer. [read the full review]
