Allie Haze (as "Anastasia") has no idea what she's in for when she agrees to sub in for her friend on an interview of billionaire businessman, Some Dude (as "Christian"). Indeed, Allie encounters a world rife with bondage, domination, and emotional uncertainty that's initially quite foreign to her. Throughout the film, she struggles to define her budding relationship with Some and, in so doing, to find her place in this world. Such is the case in "Fifty Shades of Grey: A XXX Adaptation", an exceptional parody of the popular book of similar title from Smash Pictures and director Jim Powers.

Smash Pictures and Jim Powers have done a very good job of making the first entry in the Fifty Shades of Grey series into a two and a half hour movie. The scenes are short, but keep well within the spirit of the movie while trimming down the story quite a bit with Allie Haze and Some Dude in the lead roles. The technical aspects show some very nice care, and there's also some nice effort towards the extras. If you're a fan of Fifty Shades, make sure you pick this one up.

This is a XXX adaptation for the popular book Fifty Shades of Grey. It isn't a typical parody because it is not based on a movie but rather a work of literary fiction. Allie Haze is cast well in the lead female role of Anastasia Steele and Some Dude is equally well chosen for the main male role of Christian Grey. I must confess to not knowing the source material so I can't say how close they come to capturing all the little nuances of the piece but I've seen enough Smash Pictures features to feel confident they did a good job. Julia Ann is also cast in this as the female dom who teaches Some's character to be the arrogant person we find him to be at the stories outset. This all seems to start changing once he meets Anastasia and you'll be the judge as to how much of a changed man he is by the last scene of the picture. This was much more story driven and while there was sex in the movie it isn't as much as most features or at least in regards to cum shots.
