This is a very well made feature that works on the darker side of porn. Although Capri Anderson, Tom Byron, and Barry Scott each do a great job in their roles, there's nobody in the movie that's particularly likeable. The technical aspects are nicely done with a good sense of style, and there's some nice care put into the extras to help out the movie. I had a hard time getting into this movie, but at the same time I can't deny that it's a very well made movie.

A recent feature from B Skow featuring Vivid girl Capri Anderson as a young girl who leaves a troubled home life in search of a father she was told is long dead but in reality is very much alive and has sent her a birthday card which prompts her to finally make the decision to leave and find him. Tom Byron plays a grizzled truck driver who is on his way to the Dallas area to make a delivery and he becomes a father type figure to Capri who also develops a big crush on him and tries to first seduce him in order to hitch a ride to TX in search of her daddy but she ends up stowing away on his truck after a confrontation with Barry Scott who plays her step dad and he also has a big perve crush on Capri. Supporting plays in this include Skin Diamond and Asphixia Noir as Capri's friends but they also fuck her step dad so go figure. Phoenix Marie has a short but nice turn as a waitress who is kind to Capri and also gives up the ass to Tom in a good anal scene. Capri has sex twice in this film

"Runaway" is an exceptional production from Vivid, B. Skow (the director), and David Stanley (the writer) that centers around Capri Anderson as a young woman who--after finding out that her mother (Lisa Ann) has lied to her about her father--goes on a quest to find him. Along the way, she encounters a prostitute-obsessed trucker (Tom Byron) who helps her out, and she narrowly escapes the clutches of her bizarre and perverted mother's boyfriend (Barry Scott). There are more twists (and kinks) in the plot of this one than there are turns in Lombardi Street...but, fortunately, the storyline remains both coherent and strong throughout. Of course, an adult film cannot simply live on plot elements alone...and this one is no exception...as the sex is also excellent and well-captured. This is most definitely a worthy release.
