Good sex, good music, good cinematography, and good story telling. Its not often that you find all these things wrapped up into one great movie package. The story holds your attention, the music flows with the sex instead of being a distraction from it, the cinematography is interesting without being too artsy and flippant, the acting (except for a certain female) is decent, with no false emotion or forced lines. The sex is hot, and nicely recorded, although a couple of scenes run long. There is more than one incidence when you get the felling the actors are actually making love, instead of just fucking. The closing scene is especially loving when the actors lick each others pits and tits. [read the full review]

I was not surprised when Wash West directed a traditional Hollywood film with THE FLUFFER. West had been directing films for years under the classification of gay porn. I was worried that having gone legit, he might turn his back on his origins. Thankfully, THE HOLE is proof that he hasnt. In a Wash West film we can expect a clever plot, a well-written and witty script, and some very hot sex. THE HOLE provides all of these, and I wish I could give it the full five stars; but with one wooden performance and a sex scene that comes nowhere near reaching its full potential, I am unable to give it that. It is still, however, a hell of a film! The film is based on the horror film THE RING that in turn was based on a Japanese film, RINGU. Ive not yet seen the Japanese original, but I have seen the American remake. The gimmick in these films is that if you watch a particular tape you will die in seven days. As soon as you have finished watching it, the phone rings and you are told your fate. In the West version, after watching a tape you turn gay after seven days. [read the full review]

Cutie-pie Tanner Hayes is making a video project on 60s porn star Dorian (Eric Hanson), complete with goofy interviews and retro film clips. Scene One Tanner finds one of Dorians first pornos at a garage sale, and rushes home to check it out. This scene is amazing. Wash West aged the footage with a layer of grain, and stuck in some of the glitches you normal see in 35mm film. The results are remarkable. If it werent for the condom, I would have sworn this scene was shot in the 60s. Anyway, the movie features Dorian and Diego in posing straps jumping on a trampoline and making out in the woods on a bench. Eric Hanson has a reputation for being somewhat of a cold fish. Ive only seen him once before (in Falcons Freshmen) and he was pretty indifferent to what was going on. [read the full review]
