Story: Wash West delivers more story- driven porn… this time in documentary form. Cutie-pie Tanner Hayes is making a video project on 60’s porn star Dorian (Eric Hanson), complete with goofy interviews and retro film clips.
Scene One
Tanner finds one of Dorian’s first pornos at a garage sale, and rushes home to check it out. This scene is amazing. Wash West aged the footage with a layer of grain, and stuck in some of the glitches you normal see in 35mm film. The results are remarkable. If it weren’t for the condom, I would have sworn this scene was shot in the 60’s. Anyway, the movie features Dorian and Diego in posing straps jumping on a trampoline and making out in the woods on a bench. Eric Hanson has a reputation for being somewhat of a “cold fish”. I’ve only seen him once before (in Falcon’s Freshmen) and he was pretty indifferent to what was going on. West sure knows how to get the best out of his performers, though. Eric and Diego flip flop in this scene, and it smokes.
Let’s face it, Eric is one fine specimen. He’s GORGEOUS. Sure, he’s got a great body, and a nice thick dick, but what really does it for me are those eyes of his. It’s like you can peer deep into his soul just by gazing into his eyes.
Scene Two
After doing some more research, Tanner finds out Dorian has moved behind the camera, and directed a few films. His first major hit was the 70’s film “Muscle Car” starring Anthony Cox and Tony Pacino. Once again, West does a great job recreating an era. Sure, the graininess is still there, but so is the tacky facial hair, cheesy music, mirror sunglasses and tragic hairdos. Anthony is looking better here than I ever remember seeing him. I actually didn’t recognize him at all, and when I saw his name in the credits I did a double take. Anyway, the two guys meet up in the desert, suck each other off a bit, then head back to someone’s house for some more intimate contact. Tony takes Anthony’s big cock in a variety of positions, and seems to love every minute of it. Damn, if only real vintage porn was this good!
Scene Three
As Tanner delves deeper into porn Dorian directed, he runs across a film called Lick it Up, which focuses on food-sex. Troy Michaels and Rod Barry raid the fridge for some interesting sex props. I have to say, Rod is looking most excellent. He used to be on my list of pornstars to avoid. He was rather lanky, and had a dorky looking poofy hairdo. He’s put on a good deal of weight, though, and now has a nice short hair- cut. He’s not really defined, but is still damn sexy in a boy-next-door way.
Troy’s not really my type, but he and Rod still manage to heat things up with strawberries, whip cream, Popsicles and lemons (???) Since Rod’s been working out, he must have really increased his stamina, as he gives Troy one hell of a fuckin.
Scene Four
After a few more interviews with old wrinkly guys, Tanner gets an email from Dorian himself. The two meet up, and before you know it, they’re up in the attic getting busy. This ones another scorcher! I love the way Eric and Tanner gaze into each others’ eyes for a few seconds before they engage in a passionate liplock. Eric turns in another intense performance, and Tanner has really piqued my interest as well. Why haven’t I seen more of this cutie? Anyway, Eric is a total top in this scene, and Tanner keeps his long, curved cock rock hard the whole time he’s being boned. Most excellent!
Scene Five
Scene five is missing! Well, not really, it’s just not included on this movie. All Worlds took the final scenes from each of the Deadly Sins movies, and compiled them all for The Seven Deadly Sins: Redemption. I’m kind bummed, since I was really getting into the story, and now I have to wait until Redemption comes out to see how it ends!
Audio/Visual Quality
Well, this is a tough one. The first two scenes are pretty darn grainy (and a little out of focus at times), but considering they are meant to look vintage, that’s to be expected.
Extras
Not much here. All Worlds only included a photo gallery. I really would have appreciated a few more chapter stops.
Final Word
Although Gluttony isn’t a comedy, there’s some truly funny stuff here. You just plain can’t beat a talking anus. I’m sure the first 2 scenes will cause some people to go into fits. “It’s a shame all that hot sex is purposely obstructed by all that graininess”, they’ll say. I guess that’s valid to a point. But if you’re into vintage porn (like me), you’ll go nuts for these scenes. West truly captured the look and feel of early 60’s and 70’s porn in these scenes. Overall, I loved The Seven Deadly Sins: Gluttony, but be forewarned: it’s very Artsy-Fartsy. This is one of the first pornos I’ve seen that can almost be classified as a “Film”, and not just another sex-flick. I only wish it was released with it’s final scene intact.
