Review brief: As we approach another year of AVN nominations, I am happy to report that the pile of movies to review is slowly dwindling down, just in time for hopefully more to review in a few months. This one is a few years old, but with Angela White in our opening scene, you know I had to give this a watch and review. Add in the lovely Karlee Grey (even though the scene was more centered around Karlee and Charles, Angela was the added bonus), and things continue to get better, and an easy choice for the spotlight scene. And I usually enjoy seeing Kenzie Reeves as well, but the story side and her look of disgust for a good portion of the scene, in the end, didn'' t work for me.

And with her being in two scenes in this movie, I had to decide which one was going to get the spotlight scene. But I am going to side with her scene with Jax, just for the added bonus of her tormenting Mick during the scene. And another great showcase from Kayden Kross and Deeper, a match made in heaven.

But as much as I enjoyed those opening scenes, it came down to the great energy and chemistry with Paige and Jane in the final scene, to capture the spotlight scene for this one. I have enjoyed most of Pat s work over the years, had some great stuff with Elegant Angel, glad to see that continue with Evil Angel.

And as stated in the review, we get a few different colors when it comes to her hair, so no matter your taste, we have both blonde and brunette in this one, and even a little in between. Yes there are a ton of "scenes" in this movie, but most are very quick paced and really short in run time. Review brief: Once again, back into the AVN nominated pile of movies and we are going back in time with this one, with Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy, from Pure Taboo. This was one of their first big releases if I remember correctly, which garnered lots of AVN attention, as well as putting both Kristen and Jill at the forefront, as they showed off their acting skills as well as their sexual skills in front of the camera. I would compare these two to Penny and Remy for New Sensations, and their run of great acting and sexual encounters on the screen, also getting plenty of attention from AVN.

Some of the earlier issues have changed up a little bit as this series continues, and with a few different angles, things don''t look the same in each scene either. When it comes to the spotlight scene for this one, it comes down to our cover lady, Gabbie Carter and Anya Olsen, but I am going to give Gabbie the advantage, not just for the incredible lingerie (green was a great choice), and of course that sexy body covered in oil/lube throughout her scene.

Review brief: If we jump into the way back machine to the early days of Vixen, there was a moment where we got the magnificent return of a legendary performer, Tori Black. After some time away she was able to return and quickly regain her place as one of the top performers in the industry. I believe this was one of the first big dramatic style showcases for the Vixen brand, with many more to follow, including Being Riley with another legend, Riley Reid, doing a few firsts for her career. As I stated in the review, this was a Kayden Kross project, but was still heavily influenced by the Lansky style, not the usual style dealing with shadows and lights that you see, especially with the Deeper series. Perhaps if I had reviewed this when it first came out, it would have ended up with a score closer to 5 stars, but when you compare it to stuff that we are getting now, it''s still walking away with a solid 4 stars.

But I also need to address the bad in this, one being the weird outfits by the male talent, feeling like they are doing their best to hide them. And that quickly goes away, as well as the very repetitive scenes, which if you watch this in one sitting, which may lessen your enjoyment of this one. But then, once again look at the cast, perhaps watching it one by one will work out just fine

Considering I have been reviewing some Vixen titles for the most part, it was nice to review something that was under 2 hours long. And something with a little more focus on story and hey, how about a little comedy as well. A classic story line revolving around a radio station or someone trying to make it to heaven, brings back memories of Sky Lopez, Jenna Jameson or even Jessica Drake classics. A nice cast all around, decent story, and some average sex scenes, nothing horrible, just nothing that will bring you back for a second viewing. Will say that it seems like its been forever since Misty Stone has been on my screen, always do enjoy her when she does.

Review brief: Back in the AVN nominated pile of movies, we are back with another Darkko movie, I usually end up giving all of his nominated titles a full review, as I enjoy his visual style and of course his great taste in the cast of ladies for his movies. We had two of the ladies that I thought were the two top possible choices for FPOTY, Jane Wilde and Emily Willis, who took home the award this past year. We kicked things off with Kenzie and Markus, and like I said in the review, with the loads of spunk and the phone camera footage, I was expecting that throughout the movie. Well that didn''t happen to that extent, as we did see some phones capturing the footage at times, but looking at the action through the phone, not to the side of the screen. And this time we get a superstar spotlight/showcase film, all about Abigail Mac, from the folks at Tushy.com, with Kayden Kross both writing and directing this one, and you know there is going to be some natural light pouring down on Abigail's amazing body a few times, and I mean that in a good way. If I remember correctly this had a few firsts in it for Abigail, who has really continued to expand her career, considering she was a GG performer before this chapter in her career, and you can tell from the great pairing with Kissa here. She's got an amazing body, just oozes sexual energy, has a way of driving people crazy with her seduction methods... I can't think of anything that deters this one not getting a perfect score.
