Review brief: Private doesn't have too many studs they build a whole movie around so I was interested in why Ryan Ryder??? After some research I found that he was actually a pop singing star in the UK, appearing on television, recording cds, and appearing on stage in musicals with his very nice voice. That career wasn't doing it for him so he went into porn...and so did his wife who is also in one of the scenes of this dvd. The sex is good but nothing off the scale erotic or unusual. This one might appeal to the ladies. This dvd is explained by Ryan in one scene as a "documentary" as he is followed around by the camera. It's obviously scripted but try to buy into the fantasy please....

Review brief: Private Gold's Intimate Studio (or "Intim Studio" as the title card says) is a British based production with British accented and mostly tatted cast. Nice spotlight on different cast as Private seems to be usually more German based lately and had a past of more Eastern European. Storyline focuses on a photographer who has many eager couples who want to have pics taken of them having sex. In an alternate universe that sounds like a great career so it's a good fantasy set up. The cast looks happy and having fun.

Review brief: Camerawork is stellar in this movie, not only the sex but capturing the beautiful countryside and European villa it was filmed at. The plot is just enough to make it a story, albeit unbelievable but that's the fantasy of it I guess. Dialog is ridiculously hard to understand and it probably would have been better just to watch the French or Spanish version as the English sounds like greek but at least they tried. Great job Bobby Peru.

Review brief: Seems like Tattoo themes are the rage right now. This one has some nicely tatted ladies but this isn't the typical Private fare. It's mostly POV with one guy's sexual adventures. Not glossy, not high end. Just the sex folks. Not much imagination in my opinion. That's why I rated it average overall. Dialog in English is decipherable but with music underneath some if it isn't always the easiest to listen to.

Review brief: Five scenes with a bit of lovey dovey Valentines Day theme which leads to hot and heavy Private style well shot material. Even the music used fit the romantic theme and wasn't overpowering. What's nice is that even though this is released under the Private moniker, the usual Private studs are nowhere to be seen which leads to some unpredictability for a change. Unfortunately those guys are credited at the end of the movie and who knows who is whom?

Review brief: The German Magik View tries to keep the Private brand alive with this entry. Although I wouldn't hold it up to the Private stellar entries of the past, it's a good attempt at some dp action with some of the Private babes that made the label famous like Miss Aletta Ocean. My main complaint is the music throughout most of the movie, but you can always turn that down and watch the eye candy....The director could have used more imagination with the costuming...it's supposed to be a Halloween party but most of the guys are either police or doctors! Honey Demon as a chef wins the costume award as well as a great scene on a staircase.

Review brief: Billed as a Private Gold series entry, this is a German production from Magic View. As such it is a good movie in and of itself but not as good as the glory days of the Private of old. The sex is one on one, the cast European. Music plays throughout much of the scenes which gets to be a bit much at times. Visually it is well shot, although positions tend to be edited together and not flowing from one to another which takes away from the authentic-ness (if that's a word....)

Review brief: With the financial problems Private is currently having I was wondering if my favorite studio would be able to overcome it all. Apparently they are outsourcing to a German company called Magik View Entertainment. Director Ettore Buchi does a good job keeping the Private brand alive. It's kind of weird seeing a German address on a Private production but they did "sehr gut." The story of Smuggling Sexpedition is about an Aegean Sea area group of artifact smugglers. Why not? Area scenery is beautiful and provides a good backdrop for the sex.

Review brief: When the "Swinger's Orgy" finally gets underway, there are several scenes of good action with multiple pairs/threesomes doing it at a time. Many of the male talent are usual porn stars of the day. The "80 Amateur Swingers" billed as being in the cast mill around in the background making background noise and wearing masks and not fucking. Camera work is ok but as usual multiple fucks going on at the same time are not easy to capture. Perhaps Private's Euro camera team should have shown up as some of the angles aren't that inspired.

Review brief: Taking over the reins of Private's Audition series isn't an easy task following in the footsteps of Ribas and Woodman. George Uhl is a recognizable Private stud who is a good actor but I'm not sure he has the creativity or know-how to carry the series. The director (or camera man) did a lot of the talking at least at the beginning of the movie giving George direction. Stud Kamil Klein appears with George in four of the scenes (why?). I guess I am used to the solo appearing camera work of the previous auditon series and the "audtioner" being a little more certain of what they are looking for and getting it on camera for the first time as the director. I enjoyed the movie, but like I said it isn't easy to follow in the footsteps of what was done before.
