Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are very good for the age of the release. The audio isn't anything special, but it is clear, well balanced, and free of background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format, which was standard at the time it was made. It's decently lit with a steady camera work, but there is plenty of grain. That said, I think the presentation here looks every bit as good as when it was originally released, and again, at the time this was a good looking release.
The Movie:

When I think back to early nineties porn, Ashlyn Gere is always one of the first starlets to come to mind, and shows why throughout the movie. Not only can she act well, she fucks like a banshee and I have to give her credit for doing the ugly makeup etc for the role. Britt Morgan was another favorite of mine, and also turns out a solid pair of scenes. Finally it's great to see Francesca Le in her early years, and she shows that she started out plenty hot and just hasn't lost a beat over the last twenty five years (!). No, The Witching Hour isn't perfect, but it is a fun little fuck flick that has some nice couples friendly sex, a decent little story, and some nice humor from start to finish. If you can find The Witching Hour around, give it a chance.
