Review:
“Whatever It Takes” is a very good production from Stormy Daniels and Wicked Pictures that centers around a former model (Tori Black) who has settled down to live the normal life with her currently-unemployed husband (Barrett Blade). While Barrett’s lack of a job causes the couple some problems, the really hard times hit when Tori loses hers, as well. Faced with such trying and difficult circumstances, Tori turns to a life of prostitution and lies, as she starts working for her friend (Stormy Daniels) as an escort. Before all is said and done, Tori gets entangled in that life’s more nefarious of trappings, and the whole thing eventually blows up on her. I won’t spoil the ending, but it isn’t a bad one…and it should be clear that the plot here is fairly well-developed. Complementing the storyline are realistic sets and solid acting, too. These are things that Wicked really does well, and there aren’t a lot of other companies consistently doing them any more.
In terms of the sex, this film is generally pretty hot, as well. How could it not be with three sequences featuring multi-AVN award winner, Tori Black…along with Lisa Ann, Mackenzee Pierce, and Stormy Daniels? Scene One brings us Tori’s first romp—a very good one with Barrett Blade. The missionary-like and cowgirl positions here are the highlights, and the sequence closes out with a pop-shot to Tori’s ass. In Scene Three, Tori takes on one of her clients, Lisa Ann, in Lisa Ann’s office. This one has a distinct domination theme to it (albeit nothing too crazy), with Lisa Ann making use of a riding crop on Tori’s bum for awhile before getting into the typical girl-on-girl activities—fingers, tongues, a silver vibrator that’s used on Tori, and a glass-like dildo with which Tori works over Lisa Ann. Overall, this is another very good encounter. Scene Four brings us Tori’s best sequence of the disc—this time with a male client—Anthony Rosano. The blowjob work here includes some nice deep-throating and face-fucking, with a side of titty-fucking thrown in to boot. In terms of the penetration, the doggie-style and side-entry positions that the pair employs are the best, and the entire segment caps off with a money-shot delivered to Tori’s chest—followed up by some oral cock clean-off—exceptional material!
Not to be forgotten, Stormy Daniels—who is also the director for this one—and Mackenzee Pierce have their own scenes, as well. In Scene Two, Stormy takes on Brendon Miller for some extra cash at a bachelor party. The blowjob here is hot and sensual, and the doggie-style and reverse-cowgirl action are not to be missed. This very good sequence is finished off with a cum-shot to Stormy’s left thigh. Mackenzee Pierce really turns up the heat in her romp with Billy Glyde and TJ Cummings (both clients) in Scene Five. There are some nice oral/vaginal and oral/anal combinations here, and Mackenzee also takes both gentlemen at once in two double-penetration (DP) positions—doggie-style and reverse-cowgirl. Both men deliver their loads to Ms. Pierce’s breasts and face, and she does a bit of oral cock clean-off on both of them—smoking!
Some other items that deserve mention are the facts that the resolution of the main feature is good and the movie clocks in at about 1.5 hours. It’s also worthwhile to note that Stormy Daniels really knows how to put together some nice—and sexy—feature films. Kudos to her!
In terms of bonus materials and other options, there are a number of trailers presented—two upon inserting the disc (along with the FSC anti-piracy PSA), the trailer for this production itself in the Main Menu, and also the six trailers under “Trailers” in the secondary bonus menu. Along with these trailers, one finds a “Behind the Scenes” segment that has some minor technical issues and is about 16 minutes in length. One also finds a “Bonus Sex Scene”—a Tori Black boy-girl encounter from the production, “What Went Wrong”—again, there are some minor technical issues here, as well. There is a “Photo Gallery”—which plays through a slideshow of “pretty-girl” shots and stills from the production—and also a “Promo Reel”—that gives some Wicked-based “2010 AEE Highlights”. Finally, one finds a “More Adult Fun” choice—which plays through phone sex ads and the like—and a very cheesy “More Sex—Exclusive Scenes” selection that requires the purchase of a code to watch the extra material. This last item just reeks of being a bad idea. They are wasting disc space on an already-purchased DVD and then making the consumer pay twice. This is no way to endear fans.
In sum, this is a very good disc. Tori Black is always great, and the “supporting” female cast really delivers here, as well. If you’re a fan of Tori, features, or Stormy Daniels, I recommend this movie.
