One of the privileges of having a voice in the AVN awards process is being able to watch films that throughout the year for whatever reason or other you've missed. Sometimes they are from bigger companies such as this movie here from Vivid. The director is Eli Cross and he is no stranger to leading such shows that take on darker subject matters and he once again does a kick ass job of constructing a world with characters we quickly come to be very interested in and how their stories play out over the course of the film. In this particular piece the world is that of assassins and we have two such players in Steven St. Croix who has been in the game for a long time and is seeking an exit while on the other hand you have Penny Pax who outwardly is an artist but she does a little more with her hands than just using a paint brush if you catch my drift. She is the up and cummer I guess you can say. This story grabs you from the start with a seemingly innocent encounter in a park between Steven and a stranger. It set the tone and the story just takes off from there. Great location shooting and sets too for this film throughout. The music is there to accompany the excellent visuals and then the performances take over chief among them Penny and Steven who each garner much deserved Acting nods for their work. Eli as well gained AVN recognition for his strong efforts directing this show and also writing it. The ending was very good and rewards those who watch this film from the beginning. Now on to a few highlights of the other big part of this movie, the sex!

Eva Karera with Steven:

After Steven has taken care of his business at the start of the film he goes to unwind in his own special way with Eva who lets him into her plush hotel room. She has been instructed in how Mr. St. Croix likes to fuck and it is a little rough on the edge but she is up for it and the roughness is there but doesn't dominate the entire scene. Good to see Eva doing anal in the scene and it ends with Steven blowing a load up her body.

Penny Pax with Richie Calhoun:

Steven decides to go through with his retirement plans and lets his employer know he is done but sensing he might become restless at some point a package is sent to Steven who does become curious opening it. The mark in question turns out to be Penny and we watch Steven start what was his usual work up to taking out a target which involves surveillance of Miss Pax. Steven eventually meets her in a park along with Claire Robbins who is her roommate. A short conversation but the intro is what's key here. Later on Steven shows up at Penny's opening where she is being courted by a collector, Richie Calhoun. Those two eventually head off to her place while Steven gets a birds eye view of the hook up from a location outside and across the block. Penny is very easy on the eyes and I have to say the darker hair color suits her perfectly and was a great subtle plus to her look for this film. Penny gives some head here and they hit some pussy fucking shots along the way and I was a bit surprised she didn't do anal. Another couples type pop on her belly/ tits before Penny does something and that's all I'll say.

Claire Robbins with Derrick Pierce:

The show then brings Claire back in and we saw her first at the park with Penny and then later at the gallery where she has a short convo with Steven. Anyway, Claire also went out to a club and ends up taking a stranger back to her place who turns out to be Derrick who we later learn wasn't there by chance. Derrick does some oral along with some finger play before it was Claire's turn to return the oral favors. Sex wise you have both pussy and anal action captured during this scene which ends with his pop to Claire's tits. The story then comes back into play big time here and we've witnessed strong developments throughout in between the sex scenes from Eli Cross's excellent screenplay.

Penny Pax with Steven St. Croix:

The two main characters in this piece have finally collaborated their efforts by this point in the film and have earned enough trust between them to let their guards down long enough to offer up a pretty good scene. The only drawback for me was that Penny never fully removed her bra to show off those awesome rocking/ tits. Also a little surprised there was no anal during the scene which ends with Steven blowing his wad up towards her tits.

Penny, Kimberly Kane with Danny Wylde:

The film keeps humming along like a perfectly tuned car and nicely we get another Penny Pax sex scene here adding in Kimberly and Danny who play fellow tradesman in the craft. Penny picks up Kimberly at a bar and we see that she isn't alone as Danny is there. The trio dance a little together before heading off for more intimate fun at a more private location. This scene was very good as the ladies take care of each other and also Danny. There is pussy fucking plus both women do multiple anal shots with A2OGM as well. The girls end up sharing the load before there is another story advancement.

So that was the last sex scene for the movie which heads then to its conclusion and this is definitely one of those porn features that would work pretty good as a stand alone mainstream piece and lucky for us that Eli and co add in some strong sex as well so the interest level stays very high throughout this one for the viewer who likes both an engaging story along with the extra hot visuals of sexy girls doing the nasty. Eli in the past with such features as Corruption and Upload has proven he can capture such fine pieces of cinema that give you a story that is captivating but then also work in the sex elements that are so important as well. The AVN nominations for this movie were much deserved and Highly Recommended definitely fits this movie. Check it out it is well worth the two hours plus you will invest in it.

Extras & Final Thoughts:

As I stated this is an excellent piece of adult cinema with a superb story acted out brilliantly by Steven St. Croix and Penny Pax who each garner deserved acting nods for their portrayals. Eli Cross is the captain of this ship and he also wrote the screenplay and he too earned AVN recognition for his efforts in both categories. The big extra to check out would be the BTS segment that goes on for over 25 minutes and if you watched the entire movie then this would be a good way to wrap up your viewing experience for Wetwork which again is Highly Recommended!
