Synopsis:
Flick Shagwell's body gets taken over by an alien parasite that feeds off of the sexual energy and the bodies of humans. The parasite then goes off in search of energy around Los Angeles.

Audio/Video:
The Visitor is presented with a 2.0 Stereo track, which works well for the film, but does exhibit a small problem. For the most part, the audio is well balanced however the music can be loud during the sex scenes. This is the only issue at all with the audio for the film. As there is no dialog for the film, you don't have to worry about being able to hear the spoken lines. Neither subtitle options nor foreign language tracks have been included on this release by Elegant Angel but since there is no dialog in the film neither are necessary for the film.

The Visitor is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. For the most part, the video presentation on the disc is clean and crisp displaying a beautiful picture with correct color levels that is free of artifacts, blemishes and glitches. There is one point in the film where there is a small issue with the picture that only lasts for a few seconds. In that place the video doesn't look quite right, the image appears to have hard lines in it around the images. It doesn't look like that is caused by pixels due to too low of a bit rate and I'm not quite sure what could have caused it. As I said though, this only lasts a few seconds in one shot so it doesn't detract from the viewing experience. By the time you realize that it has happened it is already over.

Special Features:
As far as extras go, this disc is rather bare. Elegant Angel has included a bonus scene from Czech Mate that runs for 24 minutes. They have also included trailers for DP's and Orgies 2, CBP Platinum 2, Hardcore Innocence 8, Hardcore Innocence 9, and Seduction. I would have loved to have had more extras on the disc that pertained to the film, especially something from Eli Cross, be it a commentary track or a featurette, where he talked about the film and what went into making it. Especially since it is so different from everything else on the market.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc for The Visitor is designed with simple and visually appealing animated menus that allow easy access to any menu point that you are trying to reach. There are six chapters available from the chapter menu, as well as six within the film itself. Each one is identified by a video clip from the scene that the chapter goes to. There is a chapter included for the end credits, which I always love. There is a time code for the feature film encoded on the disc.

General Review:
The Visitor is the first film by Eli Cross for Elegant Angel and it is a very unique film. The film is a feature-style film since the film presents a linear story within it. That is where it ceases it's resemblance to standard feature-style adult films. Instead of bogging down the film with bad lines and a cheesy story, the entire film is presented without any spoken dialog. There is no real plot to the film, instead it just follows Flick Shagwell's character and shows you what she sees. Some viewers are going to find this film to be too odd for their tastes. However, the use of imagery to tell the story is very effective here and makes for a nice finished product. There are some holes in the story, but I think that they are there due to keeping the run time of the film down instead of making the film too long, which might have happened if they had been filled.

In addition the film is shot to go along with the story. Some of the film is shot showing what Flick's character is doing and some of the film is shot from what the alien parasite that is inhabiting Flick's body is seeing. The visual style changes when we are seeing what the parasite is seeing. The special effects featured in the film are a mixed bag. Some are very nicely done and others could have been done much better. As far as the typical porn film goes though, the special effects are well done here. None of the locations and sets used in the film are your standard adult film locations, which I loved about the film and they all fit the film incredibly well.

The sex scenes are well done and have a nice mix to them. There is nothing too rough or nasty too them nor is there anything too tame, making this film perfect for the middle ground of the adult viewing audience. The cast looks good and brings some great energy to their scenes. They appear to be into them as well. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with blow jobs, pussy eating, vaginal and anal toy use, A2M, DP, lesbianism, and pussy fingering. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

Scene Synopsis:
The first scene brings us Flick Shagwell and Joey Ray and starts out with a blow job. Then the scene goes into some vaginal sex before the pussy eating. The scene concludes with some more vaginal sex. The second scene gives us Elizabeth del Mar and Steven French and starts out with some pussy eating before it goes into the vaginal sex. The scene concludes with a blow job. The third scene features Holly Hollywood and Ashley Moore and consists of pussy eating, pussy fingering, vaginal toy use and anal toy use.

The fourth scene brings us Julie Night, Steve Holmes and Byron Long and starts out with a blow job before going into a blow job and pussy eating combination. The scene then switches to a vaginal sex and blow job combination before going into a blow job and anal sex combination. The scene concludes with a DP. The fifth and final scene gives us Flick Shagwell, Jasmine Lynn and Steve Hatcher and begins with a blow job. Then the scene goes into some vaginal sex before concluding with some anal sex.

Parting Thoughts:
It's nice to see Elegant Angel expanding to the various types of films that they are releasing and allowing their product to be enjoyed by a larger viewing audience. The Visitor is a unique film in the adult industry and although viewers just interested only in balls to the wall nasty sex may be ultimately disappointed with the final product, viewers that like porn that can entertain them beyond just the sex will find this to be a fun film to watch. Viewers who are interested in this film might want to give the film a rental first to make sure that it is right for them.
