Cast: Michael Lucas, Chad Hunt, Carlos Morales, Richie Fine, Anthony Ferrat, Tony Acosta, Erik Martins, Michael Mattel Story: A jealous lover recruits the Russian Mafia to teach his cheating boyfriend a lesson. Scene One Starring: Tony Acosta, Michael Mattel First up, Tony Acosta plays a big bad Russian Goon hell bent on showing Michael what happens to guys who steal money from the Russian Mafia. Tony’s tough guy act doesn’t really work for me, but I’ll give him one thing, he sure is energetic. He’s also one of the sloppiest ass-eaters I’ve ever seen! Michael is a cute little twink-type, but doesn’t really get into things as much as Tony does. Tony’s frenetic fucking is the only thing that keeps this scene interesting. Scene Two Starring: Michael Lucas, Anthony Ferrat The head of the Russian Mafia doesn’t do anything for free, but luckily, a quick roll in the hay with Lucas will pay for the dastardly deads coming up in scene 4. The main reason I found this scene so fascinating, was the way Michael was so demanding throughout the whole thing. Every 10 seconds or so he’s barking out another order. “Bite my foreskin!” “Clean out my dirty dark hole!” I have to say, I’m a sucker for a guy who knows what he wants, and has no problems taking control in bed. It’s pretty good stuff. Scene Three Starring: Carlos Morales, Richie Fine For the life of me, I can’t figure out why Carlos would be cheating on his boyfriend with Richie. Sure, Richie has a nice big dick, but he’s a little too scrawny, a little too cocky, a little to “giddy”, and possibly a little too strung out. This is pretty much your standard suck and fuck scene. Blowjobs for a bit, then Richie fucks Carlos for what seems like ages. Richie lacks finesse as a top, which leaves the sex looking rather awkward. Carlos has a very hot no-hands cumshot, though. (and by the look on his face, it was rather unexpected!) Scene Four Starring:Carlos Morales, Erik Martins, Chad Hunt Lucas’s goon squad (Erik and Chad) finally catches up with Carlos, and give him a good old fashion Russian work-over while his boyfriend Anthony watches. I always love watching someone get screwed by a monster cock, and seeing Carlos wince as Chad’s snake slides up his ass is no exception. Apparently, if you order from Lucas’s website, you’ll get the unedited version, which also contains some fisting and possible pissing. That wasn’t in my copy, though. Overall, this scene didn’t work for me. I don’t know how to put this nicely, but Carlos is an A-caliber star, and shouldn’t be teamed up with B and C-caliber guys. Audio/Visual Quality The video quality looked fine to me, but I don’t think I noticed any music throughout the whole show. That’s fine with me though… I always prefer to hear the actual sounds of sex to cheesy porn music. Extras There’s quite a bit to wade through in the bonus materials. First up is the “Behind the Scenes” feature, which at first looks like some boring throw away footage. All of a sudden, we’re thrust into a giant bitch-fest session between Carlos and Richie. Apaprently, Richie was supposed to bottom in his scene with Carlos, but either Carlos couldn’t get hard enough to penetrate him, or Richie was clenching his ass cheeks together prevent any penetration. Either way, it’s fun watching the two guys blame each other. This is probably the best footage on the whole DVD. Next up, Lucas interviews a number of the stars of the film. Most of his questions are pretty generic, and we don’t really get to know any of these guys better. He does come off as rather arrogant, though. Finally, Vengeance has quite a number of previews in the bonus section: Back in the Saddle (which looks horrible… the video is almost all washed out), Homebodies, Shooting Stars, Love for Sale, Restless, Getting Around, Fire Island Cruising, Top to Bottom, and Director’s Uncut. Unfortunately, all the previews are just shown one after the other on one chapter. It would have been nice to be able to select them individually in a menu. I would have liked to see more chapter stops in each scene, as well. Final Word For some reason, Vengeance has a bit of an amateur look to it. Maybe it’s because of the relative lack of any big stars (besides Carlos). But even Carlos doesn’t put on a great performance (maybe Richie was right… maybe Carlos was “on” something!). I’ve seen a couple of Michael Lucas’s movies already, and this one is pretty much just more of the same. So, if you are a big fan of Michael Lucas’s work, you’ll probably want to check this one out.
