The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and well balanced, but there are a few minor background noises. The video is nicely done. It has almost a hint of grain that gives it a slightly more artistic look. It’s also very well lit.

Music: There’s a little music during the tease portion of the scenes, but that’s about it.

Menus: The menus are okay. The main menu nicely works together the boxcover and a little animation. The chapter menu is very generic and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Bryan Xin returns with another Truly Nice movie. Of course the focus here is on the ass, and he lets each girl show it off a little to start out their scene. Afterwards the girls get it on with at least one other guy while Xin uses his pervert POV to capture it all.

Scene 1 - Katja Kassin, Mark Ashley, and Tyler Wood

Bryan starts things off showing Katja’s amazing ass, as well as the string of balls its hiding. He jiggles it and gives her a nice big glass buttplug before turning her over to the guys. I think some of this might have been because if felt like Bryan was trying to avoid showing the guys, and because it rarely looked like Tyler got to fuck her. It’s a fairly hot scene, but wasn’t quite up to the level I normally expect from Bryan or Katja.

Scene 2 - Malorie Marx and Jay Ashley

I also found it hard to get a good feel for the chemistry when the guy was barely even shown in the scene. I’m not sure I saw enough of Dick to pick him out of a police lineup. This is a decent scene, but didn’t quite work for me as well as it might have.

Scene 4 - Ginger and Joe Monti

Scene 5 - Alissa, Lauro De Giotto, and Max

Scene 6 - Jessica Dee and Mark Ashley

Truly Nice Ass 3 is a pretty good fuck flick that shows a lot of potential. Bryan Xin has put together a great cast here, and each and every one of the girls have a great ass and looks like they enjoy anal sex. Jessica easily leads the pack here, but Malorie and Katja aren’t too far behind. The biggest problems with most of the scenes are their similarity. There’s a nice style to the opening scene, but the next three scenes all feel so similar that I found it easy to zone out. Much of this has to do with going from tease and warmup to cowgirl rather than mixing up the opening position. Granted, for an ass movie and as an ass fan I love the cowgirl and doggie positions. They definitely let the girl show off the goods, but it’s just too much here when they’re normally the first two positions of the scene and there’s only three or four positions in a scene. I was also mildly held back by the camera work focusing so tightly on the girl. There were times in the movie where I barely had a clue who was fucking the girl, and when that happens its rare for me to get much of a feeling of chemistry. I also get put off a little because normally it feels like the camera’s trying to avoid somebody. Here, it’s a mix between that feeling and having the girl so hot that the camera can’t get away from her (such as in Jessica’s case). Truly Nice Ass 3 is a pretty hot porno that could have been even better with a few minor tweaks.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Gangbang Darlins, Teen Sensations, and Total Babe. The photo gallery includes about eighty pair of snapshots and full screen photos. There’s also website information, solo scenes, and a behind the scenes featurette.

As usual with DVSX, solo scenes are included for each of the girls. It lasts a total of sixteen minute, with each girl getting about two and a half minutes. Ginger and Alissa are the only girls who don’t use toys in their tease, and Katja and Malorie (who’s segment also appears after the movie) actually give themselves a DP with their toys. It’s a nice selection of extra footage, and definitely helps to make this a better overall DVD.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about thirteen minutes. Jessica starts things off in the shower before Malorie shoots a few photos and showers up. Katja is next, who plays with her ass before shooting some of her scene and photos and finally showering up afterwards. Brett Rockman gets Julie ready for her scene before Ginger has some fun with Bryan’s ass. Finally, there’s a little of Julie in the shower and spanking her ass. It’s a nice behind the scenes featurette, and the only thing that could make it better is if all of the girls would be in it.

Currently, many DVSX titles can be found online for between about $13 and $25 with many stores offering them for around $20. Aim low or rent this one first. There’s some hot sex, but many of the scenes are so similar to each other that it might not have a lot of replay value. The technical aspects are very nicely done, and there’s some nice effort put into the extras as well. This is a very nicely put together DVD.

Note to DVSX: Thanks for putting such consistent care into things like the extras on your DVDs. It does make a difference and it is noticed by many of us.
