Pre Viewing Expectations

There isn't a listed running time, but it is noted to be the Directors Long Cut. Too bad the case doesn't give any clue as to what type of action is here, the photos are all non-explicit. The synopsis is rather terse, telling more about the introductions done by Jim and Jill rather than about the action. Unless you are a fan of Jim Holliday or Jill Kelly, there isn't much here to catch one's eye.

The Main Event

Plot? You want a plot? They start out with a bunch of segments revolving around a basic theme of coeds who do anything to improve their grades. Somewhere, this theme, basic as though it is, gets lost, and the scenes become purely sex scenes, with little dialogue other than the dirty talking. For the scenes which do follow the plot, they are unscripted, letting the actors do a bit of improv. This shows, as the dialogue is slow and at times a bit forced. It does allow for some funny lines which wouldn't have normally been written. One particular line uttered by one of the women referenced the squeaking of her ass and how the whales would be able to hear it.

Okay, forget the plot, how about the action? Overall, there are eight scenes in all, if you count one Q&A section. Personally, it would have been better left as bonus material. There is a variety of locations depicted, many outdoors. The action is typical for a Jim Holliday production, with lots of anal action, and a noticable foot fetish.

The Details

Overall, the audio is at a good consistent level, with the music level low enough to not override the trash talking. The stereo separation was good, but not overly noticable due to the lowered music levels.

The video was impressive, clean, crisp with vivid colors. It was so clear, you can see little bugs flying around the honey pots during some of the outside scenes. Overall, quite impressive. Try getting that much clarity with with a VHS tape.

The women are fair, but most have implants. Something to note depending on how your tastes go. It has two man-free scenes, and no group sex scenes.

There are quite a few extras on this disc. There are the typical ones such as jump to a scene, bios, and the photo gallery. This disc adds a description of multiple angles, preview of "Eye Candy 2" (also by Jim Holliday), contact information, and web site information. The unexpected extra is the quiz controlling access to a bonus scene. The quiz is three questions, and most people will need to watch the movie in order to know the answers. If one looks around hard enough though, you can find a hidden key to the quiz, which explains the answers to the questions in case you missed it in the movie.

Conclusion

If you are a fan of Jim Holliday or Jill Kelly, this may be a worthy addition to your collection, especially for the surprise ending (which I won't give away). Otherwise, it is a pretty typical disc, with nothing making it a "gotta-have".
