The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced throughout the movie and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is very well presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's clear and well lit and I didn't notice any motion to the camera work.

Music: There's music in each of the scenes that varies in style a bit but always seems to stay nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu combines a little animation with a few stills for an okay first impression. The chapter menu shows some nice care, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene as well as the name(s) of the girl(s) in it.

The Feature

Porn can be confusing, especially the names. When Nautica Thorn gets confused and puts Kyle Stone as the number one guy on her list instead of Evan Stone or Lee Stone, things go downhill quickly for Kyle and he doesn't take it easily. That Voodoo That You Do is an extremely fun couples oriented sex comedy. Although it revolves around the porn industry, the jokes aren't for insiders only and the cast plays it up for laughs very well. It's been a long time since I've seen Kyle Stone in action, and he makes a very nice return to feature porn here. Evan and Lee Stone do just as well with their roles, and it's all helped out very well by Cash Markman as he stretches himself to play a director. Yes, the story is fairly light, but more importantly it's fun and it does light right. That Voodoo That You Do never feels like it's trying to be more than a fun piece of porn fluff, and it does that very well. The sex melds with the story very well, and in each and every case there's nice chemistry and vocals. It's also very consistent and I don't think I could pick a favorite or least favorite scene even if I wanted to. That Voodoo That You Do is a great adult comedy, and easily one of the best I've seen this year.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts five and a half minutes with about five seconds per very nice snapshot. There's also a bonus scene with an accompanying photo gallery and weblinks.

The bonus scene comes from Tied Up. Niko starts out the bonus scene as the puppeteer guiding marionette Alexis, who's in a sexy little pink ballet outfit. Currently, many Penthouse DVDs can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with several stores offering them for around $20. This one's well worth the money. In addition to having consistently hot sex throughout the movie, the story and movie as a whole is just plain fun. The technical aspects are well done and there's a touch of effort put into the extras with a nice bonus scene. This is a very enjoyable DVD that shows some nice care.

Note to Penthouse: It's great that you're including a bonus scene on each of your releases, but a little behind the scenes footage would also help out your extras and the overall DVDs.
