Kirsten Price plays Tina, a hard working gal, who dumps a guy that's "a little vanilla " in favor of a mysterious guy, who leaves her little presents and instant messages for her at the work place. At first, she thinks the "vanilla" guy is the culprit but when she confirms that The Stranger is inviting her into his mysterious world, she follows his lead, wherever that may take her.
So, THE STRANGER begins with Tina bedding down with an office buddy, Vic (Rocco Reed) in a darkly lit straight sex scene with a white light bouncing around the duo on dark bed spreads. He lands a cumshot on her pussy then she informs him that "I can't stay." (Standard sex stuff, vanilla, in fact. Some may find the dark bedroom photography annoying. Not me; the scene was just too long---!! 1/2)
On the job, Tina lashes out at Vic for sending her flowers, for not being discreet around the workplace, but Vic didn't send them.
At the club, Dee (Kaylani Lei) talks to Tina on the phone. She gets off the phone when she says "there's a hot guy coming my way" then she gets off with the mysterious, anonymous fuck-buddy, who uses the phone to call Tina and let her in on the action. (Kaylani Lei's talents are somewhat wasted in this short straight sex scene with odd speeded-up visual effects but there's a nice facial---!!)
Tina meets a guy out in the dark parking for an anonymous sexual encounter but she's still thinking that the guy is Vic and not The Stranger.
The next day, she kisses Vic at the office then agrees to meet at the club. Vic never shows up but The Stranger shows up and leads Tina into another room to watch Chris Cannon and Penny Flame suck and fuck. Then, he disappears before Tina discovers his identity. (Chris and Penny's scene is fine but Tina and The Stranger are off camera throughout instead of participating in the action in some sort of way---!! 1/2)
At work the next day, Tina receives bra and panties and instructions to meet at the Gregory Hotel. She anticipates a sizzling encounter but instead hooks up with Samantha Ryan, who shows Tina footage of the The Stranger fucking Dee. Dumb dialog and cat fight ensues followed by a standard girl/girl scene with some light fingering of Tina's asshole. (!!)
Tina pays a visit to Dee then Vic then shows up at the darkened office where another box awaits her along with The Stranger, who uses the latest gift to blindfold Tina. A dark office sexual encounter ensues. (A solid scene with Kirsten Price and The Stranger, who most of you have already recognized and/or identified---!!!)
Tina pops off her blindfold but The Stranger has already fled again. She now knows that The Stranger is someone she sees everyday; does she discover his true identity?
Written by Melissa Monet, THE STRANGER has a cool female-friendly finale that's recommended for couples. Clousot's mistake is that the DVD builds from this rather vanilla opening sex scene to a finale that's essentially another straight sex scene that's about the same in length. An effort to make a more extended workout between Tina and The Stranger is the way to go. Maybe an anal scene would have made that final encounter seem more dangerous and mysterious. Also, an opportunity is missed to incorporate Tina and the Stranger into Penny Flame and Chris Cannon's sex scene, whether it be in a physical sense or some sort of verbal way.
Final rating for THE STRANGER is !! 1/2 outa !!!!! It's technically solid but a few little things would have made this DVD terrific.
Extras include a brightly lit 12 minute bonus bedroom scene from DINNER AT FRANKIES with Kirsten and Rocco. A photo gallery with The Stranger's identity revealed in brightly lit photos. Trailers. Promo real. More adult fun. CD-rom stuff and original trailer for THE STRANGER.
