The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Axel Braun can make some darn hot movies, and his squirting movies are normally very worth checking out. I'm looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: Although the extras and the technical aspects show some nice effort, with the movie barley lasting an hour this one comes up a bit short.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting an orgy with plenty of chemistry and a bit of squirting

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a full length release or over the top squirting

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is nicely balanced and clear, but there is a minor blemish here and there. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen, and looks pretty good. It's nicely lit and smooth with just a hint of pixelation popping up occasionally.

Music: There's a little music to start the movie out that's nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, but it disappears after about four minutes.

Menus: The main menu nicely works together the boxcover still with a little background animation worked together with a little action from the movie for a decent first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a place in the movie based on four clips.

The Feature

For his Squirtfest, Axel Braun has brought together five lovely ladies and three guys, all of whom have made several trips to the tattoo parlor. After a classy opening with them looking like a high class dinner party has moved onto something much dirtier, they start getting it on with the girls putting out a fair amount of cunt cum.

The girls all move around to work on each other rather than limiting themselves to just the three guys, and even get right in there to admire each other's squirts a bit. Ava gets down to take the first pop from Harley before Jamie moves over to help Jay pop on Bianca's stomach as they spoon and then lick up all the mess. Finally, Marcus fucks Sara from behind and then lets her share a facial with Cassie before they swap it back and forth a bit.

Squirtfest is a very nicely done orgy scene with some good squirting. The chemistry is very good, with the girls looking to be completely into everybody while the guys never seem to have any preference as to which girl they want to be with. For some reason I couldn't help but be drawn to Cassie Young and Bianca Dagger throughout the release, and there's something about Sara Fay that really did it for me as well. Ava Devine does a great job, but at the same time was easily the roughest looking girl in the movie (and came in second to Harley among the entire cast). For those looking for an orgy with a bit of squirting, Squirtfest should make them quite happy. Those wanting a major emphasis on squirting, however, are probably going to be disappointed as there just doesn't seem to be a lot of it. There's a fair amount, but with a title like Squirtfest I couldn't help but expect (and even hope for) a bit of over the top squirting, and that never arrived here. My other problem with the release is the running length. If you take away the credits, this release doesn't even last an hour! I can handle shorter releases now and then, but the key to them working for me is that they have to feel extremely tight and give a complete feeling. With a loose orgy feel and only one scene in the movie, neither of those things happened for me and I couldn't help but wonder where the other half of the movie was. Squirtfest is nicely captured with plenty of chemistry, but sadly it comes up short in virtually every other way.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts just over two minutes with about four seconds per good looking snapshot or full screen photo. Trailers are included for Appetite for Destruction, Test Drive, Skinn Kandi, GlamCore, Ferocious, Ultra/Violett, American MILF, Teradise Island: Anal Fever, Reign of Tera 2, Decadence, Stimula, China Blue, and the Virtual Tera Patrick 3D PC game. The behind the scenes featurette lasts a whopping forty five minutes and is very nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. Sara Fey and Bianca Dagger start out letting Axel know how much of a whore they each think they are, how many miles of cock they think they've taken, and the anal experience. They also talk about who they have and will fuck and share a couple stories before Jamie talks with Axel about beating up chicks with Ava joining in to talk about the adrenaline rush of hitting and being hit. They also show off their tits for him before chatting about masturbation, Jay Lassiter, and who they fuck off camera. Ava and Jamie also chat about some of their strangest sexual experience, their upcoming scene, and the secret relationship between Axel and Jay Lassiter. Cassie Young is next, who chats with Axel about their past history as well as what's happened since then, going under the knife, and bikes. She also shows off a bit and chats about her future plans before she talks about liking smart guys and lets Axel compare her pussy to Bianca and Sara's. As the other girls gather round they talk about the upcoming action and take a moment for Jamie to lick Cassie's pussy. Afterwards they pose for still photos and chat a bit. I always look forward to Axel's releases knowing that even though the movies occasionally miss the mark for me, the behind the scenes will almost always be great. There's nothing to change that feeling here, and although the movie seemed short to me the behind the scenes featurette was long and showed some very nice effort. What I love about them is that Axel always seems to have a great connection with the girls. There's a lot of joking around with them to keep things light, and he never turns too far away from the sex. There's normally a few nice flashes as well, but more than anything I go away from watching Axel's behind the scenes featurettes feeling like everybody I see there was having a great time on set and loves sex. If you want a little personality and plenty of fun, make sure you check out this behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of TeraVision's DVDs can be found online for between about $19 and $25 with several stores offering them for about $20. I'd suggest renting this one first or aiming low for the simple reason that I have a very hard time justifying that price range when the movie is only one scene and barely lasts an hour. The technical aspects and extras both show some very nice care and effort, but the movie just doesn't seem like enough.

Note to TeraVision: This was a great idea, but with how short it was two scenes would have been much, much better.
