Director Celeste’s third installment of the Juice series features seven sex scenes and is a marked improvement to its predecessor. Sophia Santi takes center stage in four lesbian scenes including a threesome with Kimberly Kane and Samantha Ryan. Superstars Rebeca Linares, Audrey Bitoni and Carmel Moore contribute with three boy/girl scenes.

Sophia Santi’s Juice is a return to form, placing a greater emphasis on the film’s concept: juice. No, it’s not innuendo exactly, it’s all about juices--mostly from tropical fruits--and their erotic application. It’s sexy and works as a great precursor for the sex acts that follow.

The greatest improvement Sophia Santi’s Juice makes over its predecessors is with sound. I’ve been critical of the Juice series’ repetitive overdubbed music. The music remains stereotypical, but this time we can hear what’s going on. All the dirty talk and moans are audible, and in good quality!

And the final mix is solid. A lot of porn suffers from echoes and unbalanced audio, especially from this era. Not so here. Everything from loud screams to those sultry sex sounds is neatly mastered atop the music like a symphony of delight. Crank up the volume on this one!

Celeste’s style remains definitively glamcore in her third Juice. Sets and lighting are beautiful and the makeup and hair dressing on talent is superb. By now, she has gotten away from some of the hard ‘90s MTV-like cuts and moved towards more fixed shots. While I praised those shock-cuts in past reviews, her new approach keeps the viewer in the moment, adding to the eroticism.

With Sophia Santi’s Juice, Celeste hit a homerun. It’s glossy scenes range from good to outstanding. Not a disposable porno, this is one of those special films that viewers can come back to again and again.
