Snow White XXX: An Axel Braun Parody Review

Snow White: An Axel Braun Parody is quite possibly Axel Braun's best parody to date. In fact, “parody” just doesn't seem right here, as it's more of an adult adaption than anything. Virtually everything clicks here. To start with, the production values are top notch with solid locations and costumes that are beyond perfect. The story also flows extremely well, which is an area where many of his parodies have fallen short for me in the past. It's nicely faithful to the story we all know so well and has some nice nods to the Di$ney classic including Snow talking with the birds. The casting is also nothing short of excellent. Riley Steele, who looks very nice in her black wig, is perfect as Snow White, and jessica drake is every bit as perfect as the wicked stepmother / evil queen / wicked witch. Some looks perfect as Prince Charming, and Barrett Blade really shines as the woodsman. The sex is very well captured, and has a great flow with some very solid editing. There's very nice chemistry through the sex, and I love that the sex doesn't stay as soft and non-threatening as it does with some other directors in their parodies in trying to pander to the couples market. I love that jessica's evil queen gets nasty with anal and facials, and her taking King Alec out by having him fucked to death by Katie and Ash also worked great. The only thing that's really missing here is something like a blowbang between Snow White and the dwarfs, as they're left out of the movie. Their absence does stand out here, but the movie works well wtihout them and I can definitely understand leaving them out just on the basis of budget alone. Snow White: An Axel Braun Parody is an excellent adult feature that's well worth the purchase and has me eagerly looking forward to more of the highly awarded director in the future.

The Extras:
Trailers are included for six other Wicked Pictures releases. The photo gallery lasts about four minutes. There's also a non-sex version of the movie lasting over a half hour, several behind the scenes featurettes, bonus scenes, and commercials.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little over four minutes. This is a very simple behind the scenes featurette that mostly just jumps around the set with very short segments while the only audio provided is music. This is an okay featurette that has a touch of eye candy but doesn't add too much to the overall package.

The cast reading lasts nearly a half hour. There's a little chatting around the table with the cast in full garb as Riley gets fitted in some of her outfits as they wait for a couple more people to show up. They also work on jessica's outfit before everyone returns to street clothes for a table reading of the script. This is a nice extra. You get a little eye candy from jessica and Riley, as well as some nice personality from Axel and the cast around the table. This is a good addition to the overall package.

Roughly eight and a half minutes of interviews round out the behind the scenes feaurettes. Riley starts out talking about why she loved her role, the work she had to put into the role, and a bit about herself personally. Barrett talks about his role in the movie and some of what he's had to do before Isha talks about getting the role of the old hag, this being his first role in front of the camera, and what he likes to do for special effeects and makeup. Ash talks about her role as the woodland fairy and having plenty of experience working with Axel, but sadly her audio seems extremely scratchy. Finally Axel talks about casting jessica as the Wicked Witch. This is a very nice collection of interviews that adds nicely to the overall package.

The first bonus scene comes from Sexpionage: The Drake Chronicles.
