Synopsis:
In a continuation from the first film taking place in a not too distant future where smoking has been illegalized, tobacco junkie Rebecca (McKenzie Sinclair) comes up with a plan to rip off premium smokes from a dealer (Mark Audess). She enlists the help of fellow junkie Amanda (Marie Madison) and the two put the plan into action.

Audio/Video:
Smoke Junkies 2 is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track which is all that is necessary for the feature film. The film is mostly dialog and sex, so no fancy audio tracks are necessary for the film. The sound is clear and sounds great and shouldn't disappoint any viewers. Marie Madison Media hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the feature film.

Smoke Junkies 2 is presented in the widescreen aspect ratio of approximately 1.85:1. The disc is presented with anamorphic widescreen which is a great touch and viewers with widescreen sets will appreciate the extra effort. Usually the video on Marie Madison Media discs is impeccable, however this one slips a little. The bit rate seems to have been set slightly too low causing fast moving areas to display pixels. It doesn't happen that often so it won't ruin the viewing experience. The picture is sharp and otherwise looks great.

Special Features:
The disc is hailed as a special edition, but it only contains a few extras. The best by far is the “Smoke Screen 2: The Making of Smoke Junkies 2” featurette, which runs for eleven minutes and shows the making of the film along with some fun stuff. Marie Madison Promo Photos which features 79 promotional stills of star/director/writer/producer Marie Madison that you flip through yourself. There are also previews on the disc for Smoke Junkies, Where There's Smoke, and Indiscretions.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with simple animated menus that look nice and are mostly functional. One problem with the menus that is annoying is if you are on the bonus menu the link to go back to the main menu doesn't work. There are six chapters available from the chapter menu for the feature film. Each one is identified by a still frame from the scene. There are nine chapter stops within the feature film itself. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
As is standard with the multi-part films from Marie Madison Media, Smoke Junkies 2 starts out with a three-and-a-half minute recap of the previous film. Then the film picks up where the last one suddenly left off. I had high hopes for this series when I saw the first entry. In the first film the characters were set up and it had the beginning of an interesting sci-fi smoking fetish style film, which would appeal to more than just viewers with a smoking fetish. Going into this one I expected that the plot would pick up and the series would get going.

Unfortunately the plot is rather weak in this film and doesn't really get the series off the ground. Marie Madison has shown in the past that she can combine an interesting plot with enjoyable sex scenes and maybe I went into this film with too much expectation of where the film might go. Don't get me wrong, the film isn't a waste of time and the plot isn't worse than the average feature based adult film, I was just expecting more than average in this outing.

The plot may be mostly a bust in this outing but like the first film the sex is enjoyable to watch. Viewers with a smoking fetish will be in bliss during this film as all the scenes include smoking as a major theme. The sex will appeal to more than just viewers with a smoking fetish though and as long as smoking isn't a turn off for you, most viewers will enjoy the scenes presented here. The cast looks good and it is nice to see more of McKenzie Sinclair, who puts in wonderful sexual performances again in this outing. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal sex with blow jobs, pussy eating, pussy fingering, lesbianism, vaginal strap-on use, and smoking. For viewers that care about condoms, there are condoms used in some of the scenes but not in others.

The film is well shot with great framing and decent locations. As she makes and releases more films you can see Marie and her crew's talent is getting better with the shooting of films and the framing, which is harder for her studio as most of her films are shot for widescreen and not full screen. Marie Madison still seems to rely on hotel rooms slightly too much for my taste, however, she is getting much better at using better locations in her films.

Scene Synopsis:
Scene 1: McKenzie Sinclair, Jack Cole
The first scene brings us McKenzie Sinclair and Jack Cole and McKenzie starts out the scene by giving Jack a blow job. Then the two go into the vaginal sex. They change positions several times, then Jack cums on her stomach to end the scene.

Parting Thoughts:
Although Smoke Junkies 2 doesn't live up to the expectations that I had for it, it is still an enjoyable adult film. Viewers that like a slight story and have a smoking fetish will enjoy this film along with viewers that like nice looking sex and don't mind smoking being present in all the sex scenes. Viewers that like nastier sex, don't like any story to be present, or like a well developed story will most likely be disappointed.
